When you have Huh Joon Ho in the cast, you already know it's going to be gangsta. He is one of the best KD gangsta ajeossi 😆. His walk and his demeanor in his cast-typed characters are fitting.
If our love for one another carried such high stakes, imagine the world we’d live in—God striking at every act of unfaithfulness! 😆 The storyline was quite unusual, and it left us wanting more backstory—who planted the curse? Were the two characters related, perhaps even twins? I believe the narrative could have been stronger with deeper intrigue and more answers, ideally stretched across 12 episodes instead of just 10.
This drama could use 16 episodes, especially with him being a conglomerate. It is going to fast to quickly get to the end in 12. I can envision his grandmother pressuring him to marry into another powerful family, leading to a battle for him to win the freedom to live life on his own terms.
ML: "I have a gift for you." + FL: "Can I open it" = CRINGE she so uncomfortable that she ask permission to open…
Thank you for sharing that concept! Usually, in such situations, they would walk away after the character opens the gift in which he did so she could hear his message privately in not to create a potentially awkward moment. 😊. I do think some scripted moments could have been toned down a bit to avoid feeling too cringe-worthy.

Hi! How did you feel that the crown princess asked for divorce? It was good wasn't it?? I felt so furious when…
It was a powerful realization of the queen as she discovered her unusefulness. It takes a lot of self-awareness and emotional strength to step back for someone else’s growth, especially when it’s not an easy choice. It speaks to a deep level of care and wisdom—choosing what’s best, even when it’s hard. Applause 👏🏾 to the writers. As for the prince, as I mentioned in previous comments, he yearned for the thrill of curiosity—the chase, indulgence, lust, and the intoxicating rush of falling in love. Historically men always could do what they wanted, They still do today in many cultures and religious beliefs.
What an amazing story of the queen who helped place the honorable King Sejong the Great (세종대왕) on the throne. It was truly worth the binge—thank you to the writers for delivering another enlightening historical masterpiece. The storytelling was impactful as it explored the nature of true power. The queen’s steadfast purpose kept her grounded, even when her King faltered during moments of weakness. Despite those moments, she held him up, knowing their future and shared purpose rested in the King they created together. 👏🏾
