ngl it feels a little unbalanced at this point... Hyolyn has been in the industry for more than a decade and has participated in so many shows while Kep1er is a group of literal babies. It wasn't very hard to predict the results of Round 1 at all. I also suspect that Hyolyn might win the whole thing. They should have chosen more equal groups, or left Hyolyn out. I understand that she's only solo while the others are a group but when has that ever been a big disadvantage? She has experience, and that puts her on a level high above the others
Lol wth is this how description? Spineless woman falls for guy who treats her like trash because pf a misunderstanding. Everybody sorts everything out, happily ever after.
The chances of it being a romance are low, since he did Flower of Evil before this one. He usually does one romance one no-romance so the most i expect are a few glsnces here and there
I can't believe an Indian is saying that: what about rapes happening regularly in your country and the perps get…
Then none of us are allowed to comment because of all the people kept in our jails and running free doing various crimes.... where do you live, Utopia?
I agree, but at the same time I feel that we haven't gotten such a nice romcom in a while, and that might have…
I dont think its just the young audience... I actually think there may be more older fans than new ones. I myself have been watching dramas for three years and 90% of them are romcoms. I adore romcoms, so I can confdently say that I have seen every single plot and trope in dramaland.
So why am I giving this such a high rating? Because I miss those dramas and I'm so happy someone is finally doing it RIGHT, giving me what I want. I love romcoms, and so the genre doesnt bore me, though it does get repetitive. However, with ABP... there's something that sets it apart. It draws heavily from all the most beloved romcoms in kdrama history, while also giving these tropes their own spin, making them better. The main characters take so many good decisions... I'm always waiting for them to take the cliche path and do some noble idiocy nonsense but they keep surprising..
I love the trust they have in each other. I love that they're sticking together and pulling through without unnecessarily tormenting themselves or the other. I love the fact that BOTH of them are so in love with each other. I've watched way too many dramas to know what an "average fun romcom" is. And this one exceeded all my expectations. They went above and beyond with this plot and production. It's pure, unadulterated joy. The chemistry is on point, the comedy is well written, and the characters have very good comedic timing. They know just how to be over-the-top enough for a drama like this, without really overacting and spoiling the fun.
I don't compare dramas to other dramas when rating them. I evaluate it according to it's own standards and the standards of the "average fun romcom". Let 25 21 be 25 21, and let ABP be ABP. Both have their own charms, but it is their ability to please that gives them the ratings they get. So what if ABP is "less meaningful" than other dramas with the same rating? IMO, it packed quite a few good lessons, too. I love the support and affection, the dialogues and the smart ways in which they handle their problems. They're silly when it's sunny, but wise and kind during stormy weather. I was able to relax, have fun, laugh till my sides hurt watching this silly, sweet little thing.
I gave Flower of Evil the same rating as ABP. That doesn't lessen or remove any of the depth and impact FOE had on me. FOE shook me to the core while ABP was like a warm hug on a winter night. FOE is FOE, a beautiful psychological thriller-melo, and ABP is ABP, a fantastic fluffy romcom.
Never realized how attached I've become until I literally SOBBED over the duet of the OST they posted 😭😭 thanks for keeping your promise, guys~~~ I'll be playing your song at least a million times today~

If you're fine watching it raw, the raw video drops on Viki about 5 hours after it airs on Mnet. Rough subs take about ten hours and proper subs(including song lyrics) should come in the next two days, depending on the volunteers.
How is secret life of my Secretary? I want to watch something similar to BP. Fake identity trope
If not for the mains, you HAVE to watch for the SFL Veronica PAAAAArk. She is one iof the biggest icons in kdramaland... shes like a sweeter/kinder/funnier version of the It's Okay to Not Be Okay FL.
Romance dramas pretty much never get a season 2… which is good since that would be infinitely boring… they…
exactly. the only things they can really do is make them breakup and have a whole second-chance genre or shift the focus to some other thing to show them going through the ups and downs of marriage idk even though I wish they could go on forever every Monday and Tuesday till I die, i have to say that one season is enough
Bogum and Hyeri? Or, is Bogum too soft and Hyeri too tough? BTW, nothing against the actors per se.
PBG's character in love in the moonlight was good and I LOVED him there but I still don't think he can do Kang Tae Moo like Ahn Hyo Seop... AHS is NAILING the unabashed, smooth-talking confident-as-hell dorky-ass CEO while also showing his adorable vulnerable boyish side - and this kind of drama requires a certain level of overacting.... just enough and not too much. The cast has balanced it so weLL, i couldnt imagine anyone else in the roles. I'm not saying PBG isn't capable, I know he's an incredibly versatile actor and one of my favorites - but I think AHS is just PERFECT for this role
