I'm in THAT phase of fangirling, where I'll watch pretty much anything Jang Seung Jo is in... but I've never watched a makjang before. Can someone please tell me what I should expect... or if this is even worth it?

watched all three 😬... 100 DMP was okay and I didn't really consider FOE as an amnesia drama 😅

Bai Jing Ting was amazing in You Are My Hero with Sandra Ma... another one is Octogenarians and the 90s with Janice Wu, but it's a slice of life drama about a nursing home and has next to no romance, so not everyone's cup of tea.

Viki sometimes releases episodes slowly so that the volunteer teams can keep up, or for some other reason.

I don't mean this to be insulting, but could you please list at least five dramas where the amnesia was done well? I really like the amnesia plot but I have found very few dramas that actually execute the plot well(Shopaholic Louis is the only one I really loved). I don't care how many dramas they base on amnesia. If it has a strong plot, I'll watch.

hasn't happened yet but most of us expect the show to take that turn... YG rejected her, yelled at her, was impassive and ignored her mom's lies, and cancelled the engagement, though

they decided to extend it - hopefully for a better, more rounded ending

i hope workman stays with us for a loooong time... one of the best variety shows I have ever watched. Jang Sung Kyu and his crew are just AMAZING.

I agree that the leads were just brilliant. Both FL and ML were amazing, and they worked together so well. I could feel the chemistry even though there was no skinship/overt romance. I could watch the two of them solve mysteries all day - just leave out all those corrupt boring idiots. As you said, maybe this just isn't my genre.

i agree. I liked the fact that he respected her as an equal, too. There didn't seem to be a "power imbalance" or stuff like that, He respected her EQ and she respected his IQ.

yeah all his dramas after Suspicious Partner more or less flopped. His upcoming dramas look pretty interesting - a magician role and a delinquent role... hope they're good!
