YESSS!!! Lee Joon Gi and Lee Je Hoon are the only two actors who have seriously BLOWN me away with their acting prowess. I love Je Hoon's incredible versatility and I will always go crazy over his Real Estate character in Tomorrow With You. I cannot understand why that drama is so underrated - the chemisstry was palpable, mature, and just FIRE. It was a beautiful drama about marriage and I enjoyed every minute. He and Shin Min Ah literally drove me insane with their aegyo. I loved the way they were "kids in calm weather and adults in stormy weather". Funny, playful and cute when things were okay, and strong, determined and mature in difficult circumstances.
Much romance, happy ending and do the leads end up together?
You know those dramas that manage to be very romantic even when the leads haven't gotten together yet? It's that kind. There are lots of flashbacks of their romance(how they fell in love and got married) and then they slowly come close to each other again throughout the drama. ML's daughter also has a romantic arc with a love triangle and stuff. If you're talking about skinship, then there's not much... a few kisses and not more than that. There are more heart fluttering moments than actual skinship.
I use the HECK out of the priority option... though it still doesn't always work lol. There are five or six dramas on High priority but i end up watching something I never even out on my PTW list.
Guess I've just accepted the fact that I seem to like searching for dramas more than actually watching them 😂
i can watch literally anything with Miles Wei in it... he has an overbearing CEO type role here but he can't be arrogant and unlikable for the LIFE of him😂 He always is so adorably gentle, even with roles like this.
Can't wait for Reset because I live Bai Jing Ting^^
Your article got me interested in time loop dramas... could you please share the ones that have happy endings for the MCs? I'm a happy ending addict 😅
I don't think many people agree with you. I get the idea why you would compare Anna and Sara together because…
Didn't you hear her goal, though? She clearly said she wants to take DD and Soo Cheol to the US so they can start fresh. SC being a married man doesn't seem to deter her from doing that. She never took into account whether SC would want to go with her.
I agree that they have tension and chemistry and everything, but we are seeing both sides of the story. She has only her thoughts and SC. She doesn't know about the state of affairs in his household.
I'm actually surprised how easily DD gave up on him and believed the other story 😅
Yes, but he probably dislikes being disloyal because his dad did that. Have you watched those dramas where the FL keeps wavering, unsure whether to choose the one of the male leads till the very last episodes? I call that cheating. Your heart isn't with only one person. Doesn't matter if you're married or not. As long as you're in the relationship, you can't be making eyes at other people. That's what I think his thought process is.
Am I the only one who's starting to feel bit annoyed with Mr park? He's agrees to be a doormat to everyone. He…
Putting all my dislike for various characters(including Soo Cheol) aside... About that one situation - He's DB's parent. Isn't that the way most parents are with rebellious children? They hurt for them and wish they would walk on the right path, but they're always waiting with open arms for their children to come back. DB coming back means he's changed his mind. What SC said to him got to him. If SC had gotten angry and told him to f off, he wouldn't be DB's father. Lots of children have said and done worse things to their own biological parents.
Sara is manipulative, clingy, rude and has disdain for people whom she does not like.In spite of all that she…
I don't see any positives with Sa Ra. She's obsessed with the status she'll get if she marries YG. Everyone can see that she's exasperated with him and treats him condescendingly. I don't see her spending as much time with Sejong as she does calling and meeting Cha Gun to send him away. She spends all her time plotting, acting like she's a rich noblewoman, and sees the son she's so obsessed with now and then.
And look at the way she acted towards Cha Gun— like she's already the rich wife of FT Group's chairman. Both Sejong and YG are merely conquests to her. Why am I still not completely on Anna's side? Because, for a moment, she shadowed Sa Ra - staring into the mirror and saying "I'm going to take DD and Soo Cheol to the US and we're going to be a family again." With no mention of whether it was what they wanted or not. SHE wants it that way. Like someone else pointed out, Yeon Shil might be an annoying leech, but Anna doesn't know that. For all Anna knows, YS could be a nice, sweet wife who loves SC and he loves her back. We're the ones who know that YS is a leech, and that's why we want SC to be with Anna. What if YS was a good person? Would we all still be supporting Anna's actions?
Honestly, YG is the only one carrying the show right now. His character is unpredictable, charming, and though the writers seem to think he's a teenager sometimes, he's a really good guy. I love the way he tries to take matters into his own hands instead of just going with the flow. I wish he'd just throw Sa Ra away but I guess that's too much to ask for. Sure, he's indecisive and acts like an idiot, but he's the only variable person in the entire drama. Everybody else is frustratingly (or not frustratingly) consistent in their characters, whether bad, good, or grey.
He thinks he's cheating. He still has crystal clear memory of what his father did. Heck, that mistress is running all over the house reminding him of what his father did. I think he's trying not to be his father, and that's why he seems to be going along with the wedding even though he doesn't like SR. Though I don't like the way he confessed to DD before cutting things off with SR, I also think he just wants some support rn. No one supports any of the choices he makes anyway. He's woken up after a 20-year gap and has no memories to rely on. Confessing to her just trusting that she likes him back from the look in her eyes was pretty brave of him, IMO. He seems desperate to have at least one person who'll back him up. DD's the one with all the memories but he's the one who refuses to give up on her.
And I REALLY want to shake DD now... it's like she's pretending to be a tragic melodrama heroine and it is maddening. The man literally made the first move, got over all his amnesia-related insecurities and ASKED you straight in the face and you still want to play Juliet? UGH. And the writers really just had to show flashbacks of when YG was his elegant princely self and now I miss him so much I'm going to cry
I feel extremely proud to say that my drama count is 81 but I've watched only three dramas out of this entire article. LOL.
I HATE School 2015 with a FIRE. You just have to mention it and I'll go ranting for weeks. I hated it so so much, especially because I was watching the drama for SIG and NJH after Goblin and Weightlifting Fairy. I HATED the FL. I HATED the ML. You can call me thick-skinned because I just never have SLS— but this one drove me to the limit. I just couldn't and wouldn't accept the stupid choices the twins make. Absolutely terrible drama. Another extremely, terribly stupid drama is New Horizon. Check that one out to see a frustrating mess of a triangle that isn't even supposed to be a triangle because the leads had mutual feelings but our FL is a childish airhead (disguised as a "strong, independent woman" - she makes the phrase sound like an insult to all actually-strong women) with a GIGANTIC case of Entitled FL Syndrome. This is coming from someone who doesn't mind childish or brainless FLs as long as the plot is strong, but even the plot was a grand mess.
I hated the suck-up in Dr. Romantic, but I love the actor, so I wasn't able to really hate him.
