Frustrating.

Absolutely so so so frustrating, Rosa being in this drama didn't make sense at all, what was the point of that extra drama for no reason? At first I would say this was amazing and I really would recommend watching but it only went downhill from there. I also didn't like magnet couples fight (Jimin and Haneul), it felt pointless for them to be together in the end after the way Jimin treated him, it wasn't very realistic for them to get back together. The main romance didn't need to take that long to happen as well it was overall just so frustrating to watch. Mokjin and Yeong as a couple was so so good they were the least frustrating to watch. Female lead sort of drives me nuts at times but less than some dramas I've watched. I loved the male lead in this, Jaehyun did an amazing job as someone who didn't care too much for him before. As much as I liked him as a character Ban Yidam felt a bit pointless to be in this drama, I thought he was gonna end up being bad because I kept getting a suspicious vibe from him but he was fine, but there really was no point for him to suddenly be introduced, especially cause he didn't end up being Dear.m. I think the ending didn't wrap up very nice and I would've liked Jooah and Minho as a couple for more episodes as it felt very very very forced by the last episode. To be honest it might not be everyones style but if you like the teen type web dramas you might like this but it does start getting frustrating very fast and a bit boring so it was quite hard to watch but just the friendship part of it I liked it.

Hoping for season 2!

So so so good, such a fun lighthearted drama. Some scenes seemed pointless in the beginning but it was fine. Honestly it just felt like a short drama you find for free easily however it was a lot better filming wise and editing and producing it seemed to have a bigger budget. The acting despite having idol actors (mainly Dayoung and Jihoon) and no high profile popular actors was so good. I wasn't sure if some of the products were ads but I'm almost positive now they were, but they weren't as annoying as some dramas make it seem. It was 10 hours long but it went by so quickly it didn't feel too long where i got uninterested and was bored I loved the length of this. I think it sort of feels like the plot fell a bit towards the end but that's my only complaint, along with the fact nothing happened with Minji and Kyungwoo when it seemed like their plot from the beginning was lining up perfectly. I'm hoping a season 2 gets made, very very good, doesn't have random huge conflicts that come out of nowhere instead it has mini conflicts in each episode that Jooyoung resolves. I love the cold girl tsundere type with the warm cute boy the pairing is a lot better than the opposite, I hope I get to see those two comeback in season 2 since I feel like it could be an easy season 2 (no way to really make it bad). Huge must watch, I'd recommend it!

"We were born to be happy"

Lots of ups and downs, I switched back and forth from really hating some characters to starting to love them again especially with Eunhui. Eunhui had a lot of redemptions, which is shocking because when I hate a character it's usually for the rest of the drama. This drama has a lot of actresses and actors I'm familiar with so it's always nice to see how they'll portray this character. I still have a dislike for Hansu even from the last episode, and it's probably because he doesn't show up again after episode 3 until episode 20 so you can't see any character development and that's frustrating. Inkwon and Hosik were so annoying at first but once they stopped fighting I loved their characters. I love how we get to see how vulnerable Eunhui is on the inside. I didn't like how the first three episodes were only about Eunhui and Hansu, it made it hard to follow and it seemed strange to just start with only those two without knowledge of any other character. I definitely like Hyeon and Yeongjus story the most. I was very frustrated by Seona and Dongseok at first, but in the end I really liked them. If I could wish for anything for this entire drama I wish I seen Kijoon more often. I think if a spin off was created just for Hyeon and Yeongju I would enjoy it, but that wouldn't be necessary at all and probably wouldn't end up being very good. I absolutely love Hyeon and Yeongjus characters and their story. I liked Miran a lot I just wish we knew about her more from the beginning and not towards middle/end. For the most part I don't think it was AS good as the reviews acted like, but it was still quite good, just a bit overhyped so I had high expectations, it definitely wasn't as good as other dramas I've watched but the way the episodes are formatted could be the reason I feel that way. I think throughout this drama I was able to empathize really well with the characters and could almost feel what they felt, and hate the person who wronged them, however that wasn't really the case with Okdong, I just couldn't feel bad for her at all, but I was a bit sad by her ending. I wish we got an update with Hansu, not like the last episode but a proper one where it cut to him like a proper support role not just a guest role. Another thing I wish is it could've been just normal episodes and not divided by only 2/3 characters that were related to each other at once, I kinda wish they talked about all the plots at once, the dividing made some things predictable and just less nice to watch, I think my rating would be much higher if it was formatted like dramas usually are. I think in this case the time jump in the last episode was done very well. Quite a cute ending. I wish Eungi got a proper ending or just appeared more, she was so cute. I liked the message at the end about I think the way the ending was made the entire drama much better to me. I liked the message at the end, "There is one thing we must remember in our lifetime. We weren't born in this world to suffer or feel miserable. We were born to be happy. We wish everyone happiness!" Ups and downs, but I'm happy I watched this.

Cute!

Very fresh and new seeming to me. Bohyun in the beginning is a bit frustrating of a character, but I ended up really liking him. I like Hyuk a lot. I didn't care so much for Haol though. Jaechan and Munik seem like really good actors for being idols. The crying scene in episode 4 was cute. This overall was such a cute and fresh drama, I've never seen anything like it, the ending was really nice. I don't think everyone would like this type of drama, but its the only web drama I've seen that is good with it being so short i would recommend this. I probably won't watch season 2 as season 1 wrapped things up nicely and I don't wanna get disappointed by season 2, also I don't like different casts usually.

Lacks a plot.

Not really a plot in this entire drama, could've been much more since the acting wasn't too bad and I liked the setting and the way it was filmed and it didn't look low budget. I think there's not enough episodes, I think this is one of those dramas that could almost be 16 episodes because it's quite slow moving. This drama feels empty like the plot never started, there wasn't really a plot. I wish we could've got longer episodes and a few more episodes, it honestly had so much potential to be really good. Siyoung is good at playing a bully but it feels like another character she played so it's not that amazing. There were a lot of cheesy slow motion clips. Jiyeon plays same type characters so that’s disappointing. Eunseo isn't a bad actress to be honest she's a lot better than a lot of idols and even some actresses. I wish the writers expanded on what the last scene meant. I probably won't watch season two since it is an entirely different cast and probably doesn’t even focus on what happened in first season. I think there isn't really a plot, but the drama was filmed really nicely, I would watch it just for that.

Ups and downs.

Honestly a lot of ups and down, In the beginning I was frustrated by Hongyun but then I changed my mind but towards end I was frustrated again but at the last episode I liked her again. Yechan was frustrating too. I started to like Donghwi and Yeoni have really good chemistry, I wish we could've seen something come of that. I usually don't like love triangle type dramas but I found this quite entertaining. I was all for Hongyun and Deokjin, but in the last few episodes I got frustrated. Doah is sooooo pretty I would replay the scenes of her being annoying just because of how pretty she is but Yeoni was so annoying until the end which is good she finally could change. The plot twist at the end was so shocking, I was so upset and then the plot twist. I like the little ending that shows how everyone ended up. I'd recommend this drama.

Bad ending..

Bad ending to be honest. Season 3 started at a weird point but got better as it went on, but it declined pretty quickly, I really didn't like what Yeoni did at the end. I dislike Hongyun way less now but she's still a bit annoying, her character is growing on me and I'm starting to see her personality. I think I'll dislike Yechan if his choice is different though. Started extremely good i liked it a lot the acting was very good but fell flat quickly, I think it wrapped up too quick. I honestly think Hongyun and Deokjin ended up having better chemistry than Hongyun and Yechan, I'm interested to see how season 4 is. Overall it was quite good, a bit better than season 2, I recommend.

Cute drama about friendship!

This drama would've worked as a sapphic love story too where the female lead doesn't reciprocate. Overall it was a cute drama around friendships in high school, nothing amazing about it but it was worth it to watch since it's so short plus all of the characters had their own charms. It has a lot of sponsors and ads for brands so it gets a bit annoying after awhile when it gets so obvious with the weird epilogues but if you can get past that I'd watch it's quite average of a kdrama but its fun and cute. You can tell Doah had a brand deal with Etude House because of how often she put it on in this drama if you didn't know before you'd know now from this drama. The main reason I think I liked this drama was Mirae, she definitely carried this entire drama, I’d watch 50 more times just for her scenes. Also you can't convince me this isn't sapphic in some way, female leads best friend looking at her like that and telling her not to date or even wanting her to have friends seems??? I thought Seonji was annoying but I realized in the end it was just the way her hair was that was bothering me. The kiss scene in episode 11 is a bit excessive if I have to critique anything else. To be completely honest I only watched this because it was season 1 to season 2 (season 2 looked interesting and had Yena so I wanted to watch) and I didn't want to miss any of the plot. I'm glad I didn't miss out, the plot is good enough, the type of thing you expect with web dramas, the acting was iffy though. Overall I'd recommend it, it's the type of drama I'll think about in months still.

Recommend!

Very good drama. The acting from the main character was amazing, and I loved the character development of Sanggu. I also loved seeing so many familiar faces. It was amazing in the beginning but I kind of didn't like the fact there were so many different guest characters and different plots in each episode, it felt like a drama that didn't have a set plot but just revolves around a random guest character but it got better again towards the end. I know the drama wasn't about love but I would've loved to see Urim (Sooyoungs character) and Sanggu have a relationship, it felt like there should've been something there, not a big deal but it would've made the drama better. I really enjoyed how they wrote Namu, the line said at end by her father was also cool, how they wrote her and Geuru to have similar names. The ending confused me quite a bit, I'm not sure what it meant, but that's probably the point. Anyways I recommend this drama it was quite good and touched on certain topics like gay relationships, suicide, etc. I enjoyed it!

Not Bad..

It's not bad, it's as good as it'll get for a 10 minute short film. It's worth watching, I don't have much to say because it was so short. It's good enough. Suzys acting is good thats about it, theres not an original plot or anything and its an ad but it was still good. If you're bored and have nothing else to do watch it, although I wish I knew what the woman in the elevator had to do with the plot, I thought it'd be revealed that that was his girlfriend but nothing happened and she didn't go to his house so what was her issue and why was she added if there was no point for her in the script??

Amazing.

While You Were Sleeping might be the best kdrama I've watched in awhile. The acting was amazing. All the characters were amazing. The plot was amazing. I recommend watching this, I cried, smiled, laughed, every emotion you can think of while watching this. Lee Sangyeob really does a good job at making the audience hate him. All the acting was good and there were a lot of familiar faces as support/guest roles. I enjoyed the plot and seeing Jaechan and Hongju find out they knew each other. When I was watching I thought for sure Wootak was gonna be bad and plotting something, but its nice to know i was wrong. It overall was a good drama but if I could critique anything I would critique the fact that Wootak never got a proper ending, he just got thrown to the side at the end. I would recommend this drama to others, if you like romance dramas that aren't toxic and a lot of fighting and the male lead getting mad 24/7 then you'd like this.

Eh....

In the beginning I thought it was good, but then after the third episode all the original cast just disappears and its a weird plot hole, it would've been amazing if the first three episodes were stretched longer so it could have more of a plot and make the last three episodes a second season. The entire thing just seemed very empty. I didnt enjoy it during the middle but towards the end it was good to me again. Kim Hyunjoo, Ryu Kyungsoo, Kim Siha and Choi Hyungjoo definitely saved this drama for acting and their characters were the easiest for me to watch. I thought I'd be upset that this was so short (only about 5 hours for all 6 episodes) but I'm happy it isn't longer. The plot twist towards the end just has me confused and nothing will ever come out of it but it felt like the director was too lazy to do anything else. I do like cult type dramas and mystery but save your time and just watch something else.

Amazing.

I decided to watch this because it was very short and would be fast to get through. I didn't really have high expectations but wow... This was so good. From the first 2 episodes you can already sort of see how it was filmed and the style of it, it's very realistic seeming..? It feels like those really are the FLs two sisters. The acting in this was very good, and the plot too, for this being so short it was amazing, everything felt natural and none of the acting felt over the top, it felt like everyone truly was their character and it all came to them naturally. I felt the emotions of everyone, every actor in this did amazing. Watch this!!

Quite Rushed..

It was quite good, I liked Hakyung but Siwoo started bothering me towards the end, also Hakyungs mom scenes were wayyyyy too hard to even watch because why is she acting like that???? I'd say the second male lead Kijun redeemed himself at the end, but how much can a cheater redeem himself?? I also started liking Yujin because I understood her struggles and could understand why she would be upset at the things Kijun did, but I think this drama could've been a few episodes longer as everything just happened the last few episodes and it sort of bothered me, it seemed very rushed towards the end. I'd also like to say the side characters stories were much more interesting to watch like Donghan and his wife and watching Seokho and Taekyungs relationship happen although Seokhos character was too uptight and a bit hard to watch. Soojin and Myungjoo definitely carried the show. Overall though i'd recommend this to anyone that likes romance and easy to watch dramas about life just don't have such a high expectation bc it goes downhill.
