Wanted to share my thoughts:
1. Chen San Ye - ILOVEHIM. Especially in the first episode, when he draped that black cloak over his shoulder after rescuing FL. To die for. He gets my vote. FOREVER.
2. Ye Xian - At first, his character was tolerable but after the latest few episodes, he just seemed like a spoiled, petulant child. I know he's going through stuff but what he did on ep 8 was downright mean. He's going to need a redemption arc. No 2nd ML syndrome here.
3. Chen Xuan Qing - I guess if. you like the serious, quiet, bookish look. But honestly, he comes across scary to me. Like all that hidden angst waiting to explode. Pass.
4. Ji Yao - After ML, he is my next favorite character. I hope we get to see more of him.
5. Gu Lan - I really wanted them to have this sisterhood thing going but let's see.
6. Gu Lan's mom - She really looks like Yang Zi.

FLs cousin is YXs nephew.

I got confused also. Did it say which brother is the father of Chen xuan qing? Since ML is 3rd uncle. And the one who took the exam was 4th uncle.

Ended up getting 1 month SVIP from Mango. I want higher resolution and Chinese subs.

I need all the episodes NOW!!! Love both leads and really appreciate seeing different types of leads. Not the usual Mary Sue or whatever trope. I didn't read the novel so I have nothing to compare to which is even better. I can appreciate the story how the writers wanted it to be.

As someone totally counting down the days and hours till May 3, I've remained on a steady diet of drama/teaser clips on XHS/rednote. There are so many out there. Some using Ren Min's voice.. Some using a voice over which is very obviously not her voice. I think it's more that. But we shall find out on the 3rd, whether it's really dubbed or not.

I'm really hoping RM doesn't use dubber but from the trailers it seems like it' s not her real voice.

I watched till episode 2 but it seems confusing so I went straight to episode 28 to see if HE or BE. I don't get the ending. did FL and ML end up together? They showed 5 years ago. and then they showed an older FL with white hair and then an older lady. What was that?
