Loved this initially but halfway through and was ready to drop it. A drama with a group of the pushiest people ever… which is the problem… pushy people. ML, Mother. Sister, Music friend. business partner.. everyone!!

I love ML as an actor and he’s one of my favorites. BUT in this drama, FL is like a glass figurine and ML has a savior complex. He’s a man that can’t accept no and thinks he alway knows what FL wants. Actually everyone is out to “save” FL cuz she has to make copies at her new job and teach music to children. ML uproots everyone else’s life to make FL happy … I mean these people have families and jobs. What’s worse is FL agrees to everything without a thought to their circumstances. FL is a spoiled and entitled porcelain princess who isn’t actually very sweet or nice… at least imo. sorry!!!

Drama made music out to be a ride or die thing but it wasn’t convincing … at all. I am bummed cuz I was really looking forward to this drama.

I initially enjoyed this drama once I stopped trying to really understand the plot and let some of it go. I liked the premise and both leads. The story, at least for me moved at a good pace and I liked the leads chemistry.

Halfway through is when it became hard for me to root for the FL She clearly hurt ML and devastated him with her words and actions. She had her reasons but drama didn’t spend time showing us if she was really that sad over Ml. IMO, she didn’t seem sad. When FL was trying to win him back… she lacked a complete sense of sincerity. Chasing after him with her big eyes, giant cheesy smile, prancing around him, and using the cutesy voice when this guy is still in pain was so superficial. I wish there was a heart to heart… a genuine apology for lying and deceiving him. Something…. cuz I really wanted to like her.

The OST and sound effects didn’t help either … while funny in the beginning it minimized ML’s emotions and made FL seem flighty and ingenious. I didn’t care if they got together and that was a big bummer for a romantic drama.

Well…. Where to start. I was excited to start this drama given the seasoned actors. But it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. There’s no real angst in this drama… any angst is short lived or so questionable that I’d spend an episode trying to figure out what is wrong with the leads and writing my comments on Viki, only to delete them so I’m not being too negative… after all it is almost Christmas!!

Initially, I thought the writers were supporting independent and confident women… but then it seemed more like reverse psychology . I’m suddenly sympathizing with the men who are at home cleaning the ladies’ apartments, apologizing for everything, and basically groveling half the time. Was this done on purpose? All the ladies, including the BFF whose sudden transformation was hard to buy into were SO high maintenance . It was overboard.

For such experienced actors, this drama seemed stilted. I FF’d through moments that really shouldn’t have been cringey but sadly there were a lot of those moments. But overall it was ok I guess. Probably lower than at 6.5 but I feel bad for the men so to not further beat them down I’ll leave it at a 6.5!!

I tried. I tried really hard!! I stayed with this drama for the leads but I finally had to admit defeat. A drama with more internal dialogue than actual communication and even then, I didn’t understand the push and pull. ML as a CEO just wasn’t convincing enough… even with his glasses. He was socially awkward, borderline Asperger, and just off. He liked FL yet refused to do the simple things for her like give her a ride. He acted like such a jerk cuz he liked her? Umm… you’re a 30 year old CEO. FL… so smart, so resourceful as a reporter… yet she didn’t find out all the facts before making decisions in her relationship. I assumed it would be second nature to think inquisitively and see all perspectives as a journalist.

And the music. The build up … that flopped more times than not with FL running away or the phone ringing. Drama has a serious case of FOMO. Voice mail is built in for a reason. You are important but it’s okay to not answer and check your voicemail once in a while!

Oh well…may their next drama be better than this one!

I enjoyed this one a lot! Maybe it’s because I’ve watched too many dramas lately with evil 2ML/2FL, deceptive siblings, and manipulative co-workers. This drama was refreshing with a solid cast that didn’t always get along but the reasons behind their actions made it okay.

ML, I’m a new fan. Handsome, charming, and charismatic, he made me smile and cry and not want to FF his scenes. He was younger than FL but show didn’t make it an issue. ML was competent and respected and I loved that! FL captivated me too. She portrayed her quiet inner turmoil well, making me root for her. It did get a little long towards the end… I wanted to see more change in her.. although I guess she is who she is till the end.

The change in racing threw me off. It would have been nice to see them finish their original goal… although I know nothing about racing and I can see people questioning how accurate it was portrayed. I’m guessing not very accurate.

My biggest con though was the business scenes and too many characters trying to speak English with too many accents. I cringed with every new speaker… except James Lee… although sadly his perfect English suddenly seemed out of place. The flow was lost and in real life, there’s no way they understood each other. I barely got it with subtitles and then not really ?. Wish these dramas would stop forcing it when it comes to speaking English.
It’s not impressive when it’s that broken… imo.

Overall, I did like it and thought it was a fun watch!

The trailer looked so good!! I love both leads and with their matching dimples, I was super excited. They both give off the same vibe... good looking, aloof, quiet, small chip on their shoulder, not to be messed with, but loyal and faithful to each other and their friends.

I loved the first half like everyone else. Sweet, sincere, and heartwarming. I was hoping (I’m sure like others) that the second half would be different especially after reading all the reviews. I didn’t mind the change to shooting and seeing ML pursue his true passion. It was more interesting at least for me, than watching silver jewelry being made. But at some point, after episode 25 when drama should have ended and I’ve already tolerated FL’s overbearing mother, medical troupes, and a jealous/spiteful apprentice… suddenly there’s more?! New villains and more problems. The time spent with the other couples, especially the brother storyline felt like I was watching a new drama. I ended up fast forwarding through their very long parts.

If drama had kept up with the romance between the leads maybe I would have been more forgiving of the added troupes. It wasn’t that the leads didn’t have chemistry… it was that they seemed stuck in a high school relationship (minimal hugs or physical contact). The intense gazes were there and the ending monologues let us know they were in it forever, but I’m sure we were all thinking the same thing… “just hug already!!” The affection that naturally comes with being a couple was missing and so unfortunate. It turned this drama into more of a melodrama than a sweet romantic one.

Oh and the ending… Sigh. ML knows FL carries her own burdens and I’m guessing unless there’s a season 2, writers are saying they’ll figure it out since they’re destined to be together. Which I actually do believe… 30 episodes of problem after problem…breaking up was never an option. I’m sure they’ll be fine in the future!! I watched a you tube video of the director/producer person who seemed big on young people chasing their dreams. I’m guessing this maybe the reason for the “happy open ending”?!?! They’ve still got a lot of dreams to chase?! ?

Overall, I don’t know what to rate this. I don’t regret watching because they are some of my favorite actors and they probably did what they could with the script and direction they were given. But it was a bummer given how good the chemistry was between the leads.

SO GOOD!!! I have to admit I wasn't sure about this drama. I knew nothing about the ML and k-pop artist turned actor made me hesitant, but I had no idea he was a child actor with lots of acting chops. I love FL's work and the two of them together brought us a SUPER sweet and endearing drama that on these rare occasions made me think 24 episodes was just too short. Youth dramas are hard to do especially with so many out there. But this one did it well with a very down to earth FL who is completely herself... sweet, adorable, sassy, smart, and not going to be bullied by anyone. ML played his part perfectly because who doesn't like a guy whose good looking, smart, loyal, confident with a little bit of green, and unwavering till the end. I loved the chemistry between the ML and FL and the progression from high school to college and then adulthood and little bit more.

The parents in the drama were hilarious. They brought about an element of comedy and unexpected that I think only seasoned actors can do. The side characters were all likeable too and fun to watch a drama where friends supported each other, even the ones that aren't your instant best friends.

Overall, I loved this. It left me happy yet so sad when it was over.

I was so excited to watch this drama but half way through I felt like I was trying to convince myself to still really like it. Drama had so much potential… it just never seemed to go beyond “just okay”. Instead of focusing on the main leads, the storyline was everywhere… touching on each person and their relationships but never going deep enough. I liked ML but his trauma was resolved so late, he didn’t seem to have much character growth. Although romance wasn’t suppose to be a big part of this drama, I felt like there should have been more since drama brought it up and spent initial episodes trying to develop something. It was a bummer because nothing felt completely satisfying and there was one too many motivational speeches and monologues which made me want to hit the fast forward button.

Despite all that, this really wasn’t a bad drama….the strong brotherhood, tug of war as a sport, and actors and actresses were likeable (at least most of them), I never quite figured out who was the FL…maybe there wasn’t really one. The portrayal of coaches was a little much but I’ve seen my share of crazy coaches too. I give writers props for writing the coaches in that way… although it’s wrong, I have a feeling that’s what a lot athletes face on the daily.

Overall, It was a cute watch but my expectations were probably just too high. I can’t bring myself to rate it less than an 8!!

I love both leads and waited for all the episodes to come out so I could watch to my hearts content! But by episode 20… I realized why so many said this was one episode too many. The leads had chemistry… but at least for me… not enough. It fizzled out and I actually found myself getting annoyed by FL’s cutesy-ness. ML was the typical stoic man of few words… only sometimes he was too stoic when she was trying to be too cute. FL didn’t seem to change much in 10 years and she was almost too understanding and too perfect with ML’s absence and profession I love her character so much more in Go Ahead.

The flashbacks would have been so much better early on instead of at the end. I would have loved more of the second CP and watched their story to the end. I’ve seen other dramas where they do a ML perspective but it’s short and sweet and totally works. This one… I sadly FF through even though it was the last episode.

Overall I think if you love the leads.. like A LOT, then you’re good to go!! If you just mid-like them then drama is just too long.

I like time travel dramas but half way through I usually have to come to terms with the fact that it may not be a HE and I’ll have to take what I can get. This drama though I was pleasantly surprised and liked how it wrapped up the storyline and gave us a pretty good HE.

ML and FL I loved in this drama. ML is handsome and charismatic and played his two roles so well that it really did seem like 2 different people. FL is a natural beauty and when she smiles she lights up a screen. I felt the chemistry between them and loved the progression of their relationship. I would to see these two team up again!

There are plot holes and overall, I agree with others that you can’t overthink or over analyze. I watched this for the main leads and it was a fun and enjoyable watch where I didn’t hit the fast forward button (at least for me!!).

Major spoilers!!!
I was super excited to watch this drama. I’m usually not a fan of love triangles but I’ve always liked the leads, especially the FL.

The problem with this drama at least for me was that drama had us watching FL with SML for OVER 20 episodes yet it dropped enough hints that they were not going to be together!! Why have us watch these “sweet” scenes when it really doesn’t matter in the end?! ML and FL’s time together had depth and amazing chemistry. We saw ML grow as a person and show genuine regret and remorse. FL seemed to come alive and was her true self around ML This was such a sharp contrast to the bland and sugar coated relationship FL had with SML. Fights were brushed over and arguments “reasonably” solved (you lied for the ‘nth time but okay it was my bad because I should have known why you lied and so I forgive you … again?!). Sigh. Drama wanted us to see SML as perfect and a saint but it made him come across as pretentious and more flawed when he made a mistake.

In the later episodes, we start to see less of ML too… where I started to FF because I was wondering where he was. SML seemed more like the ML considering how much time was given to his story. Oh why do dramas do that when I’m pretty sure most viewers just want to see the FL and ML together.

Overall, it was okay.. . I’d watch it for the ML and FL’s story. Their scenes were heart warming, heart wrenching, and full of depth. Just wish there was more of them!!

2 separate dramas in 1

The first half of this drama was SO good. I was hooked from the beginning and loved the pacing and story line. The ML and FL were a perfect match and from the first episode, there was no question about their chemistry. The friendship between the 3 ladies was refreshing and I looked forward to seeing where their journey would take them.

What threw me off and became a struggle was the second half of the drama. The ML and FL's time together always seemed short and fragmented. A misunderstanding that lasted for NINE episodes in which the ML is barely getting screen time was disappointing and confusing. He was suppose to be one of the main leads right?! I was expecting the ML and FL to be a power couple with their smarts and wit to defeat the evil doers, but it became a drama about managing a restaurant and ruthless business men. The CP was what made this drama so special... without it, this became another drama completely.

If I had to do it again, I would watch again. The first half is that good...at until episode 27...then I'd skip to 31 or 33 and then to 36. But even then, if you're looking for your CP to actually get time together, you're probably better off jumping to the last episode.

Surprisingly Good!

I tried this drama about a year ago but couldn’t get past the 1st episode listening to FL’s baby voice and crazy princess behavior. The reviews I read didn’t make me want to watch it either so I dropped it. BUT, out of sheer boredom, I tried this drama again and surprisingly, I really liked it!!

FL’s over the top princess behavior eases and she is not only likeable but you really start to root for her. ML… how did I miss him the first time?! I was charmed by this handsome, protective hero with the prettiest eyes and swoon worthy smile. I liked the chemistry between the leads although I can see why some say there’s a small element missing … whether it was in the editing or cut… it would have taken the drama to the next level.

But despite some plot holes and typical troupes to get through when watching a c-drama, I enjoyed this one. Hoping to see the ML in more leads… he truly has found the fountain of youth too!

This was a sweet and fun drama to watch. It isn’t anything really different from your typical rom com, but I love the ML and FL and was excited to see them together. ML is charming and charismatic and one of my favorites. He's got the best micro expressions and is that good looking guy you might actually meet in real life. FL is adorable with her dimples and girl next door vibe. I love couples that stick together through thick and thin and this drama definitely delivers that.

The main issue I had with this drama was the SML. Only in Chinese drama land is it okay to try and steal someone else’s girlfriend without getting a big fat lip!! I keep wondering if it’s a cultural thing but it makes no sense that everyone is fair game until their officially married. Drama tries to make us feel sorry for SML (cue the sad music) but how do you feel bad for someone that is a home-wrecker (and he’s not even the “childhood friend”)?!

Overall though the sweetness and chemistry between the leads kept me watching. It was an easy and fun watch especially if you want a break from a lot of angst or drama.

Sigh. What a bummer. I was so excited to watch this drama but found myself more and more frustrated with every episode. This drama is suppose to be a romance… at least I thought so… but it didn’t deliver. FL was so cold and insincere… she bailed on ML, didn’t seem to have any real remorse for ghosting him for 2 years, and was always bickering, scolding, or yelling at him! I can’t count the number of times she pushed him away and I’m still not sure why since she liked him. What little chemistry the leads had fizzled out and it became a chore watching them in whatever undefined relationship they were suppose to be in. The last straw for me was when FL answered her phone during ML’s romantic proposal. I mean… who does that?!

FeiFei…oh FeiFei….20 episodes of crying and whining because her guy has amnesia! He has amnesia!!! Shouldn’t HE be more upset than you?! Why would you make him drink so much he’s hospitalized for alcohol poisoning?! If that’s love, run away!! Her selfishness and self-centeredness was just too much and not justifiable considering what he was going through.

I won’t start on the 3rd couple… although Li Ming was the only one I liked. ..:Drama should have just ended at season 1…
