For those who are wondering about the Heat Index. If you actually look at Kuyun's heat index, the decreasing figure…
You can't compare This Thriving Land. It's on both online + TV. Moonlit Reunion is not on CCTV. Also, the kind of story that This Thriving Land with its cultural themes attracts a wide audience in China. I've watched the first few episodes (they're all on You Tube and I can't even find Moonlit Reunion on YT) this kind of show is so different, how can you compare to it, apples and oranges. This Thriving Land has older actors too that are well known and attract larger audience. Their acting is very excellent. I enjoy it although the constant commotions of their lives wear me down. Even their story is a bit unrealistic for a realistic story like after being kidnapped, she is able to climb down from the snowy mountain overnight, no food, no water, then she reaches home, runs away again, back to the mountain, is rescued after she collapses, wont' eat anything, like how can she survive like that with no food or water for at least 2 days now I think, and it's not fantasy show, yet she was able to just get out of bed and acts weak but looks fine to me after all she went through. They make it look like she hasn't eaten for days. The kidnapping that is the crucial event that sets off the entire story was so strange and unbelievable, like the mother just let strangers in her house and go see her daughter, then with a gun, they kidnap her, and everyone knows these dangerous bandits who live up the mountain.
Ah the sweetness of Mei Zhuyu and Wu Zhen endearing moments that I felt in the novel I hope has now begun with Ep. 12. It's really hard to describe it. It's so tender and they were so passionately in love. Mei Zhuyu became a different person around her and Wu Zhen also changed into a different person around him. But how long before conflicts arise as discussed below, the hope is that the conflicts are "meaningful."
I'd love to see it go to 1 to show how ridiculous it is. The lower it goes, the more ridiculous MDL ratings are.…
I think , I hope when the drama is done airing, then it will go back to 8 or 8.1, is all I will expect, but after SAF6, I don't put much hope into MDL ratings

I was joking when I said go to 1, but honestly, I don't care about MDL ratings. But thank you for caring. The only thing I care about is Xu Kai does well regardless of ratings.
The novel has no conflicts, plot, or mysteries, but the drama does.
99% of movies rely on conflict. It's the resolution that needs to be done right to transform it into something emotionally gripping or thought-provoking. That’s what makes a story compelling,
Haters have arrived to downgrade the rating but that doesn't matter.Even if it gets 1 rating ,I like this drama…
I'd love to see it go to 1 to show how ridiculous it is. The lower it goes, the more ridiculous MDL ratings are. In that sense, it really backfires because any rational person can see it's ludicrous.
This is not xianxia. He's a mortal who has spent his whole life grew up in a temple reclusive and cultivating…
It is a fantasy drama but it's also plausible to break his knee given his cultivation is mostly magic, unless the drama shows him doing this again later flying around, I don't recall was he flying around before? I've only seen him use his hands to muster up talisman or exorcisms. If he flys around later, then yeah, he's a klutz
I went back to the scene. Mei Zhuyu has no supernatural powers other than his qi magic. He was running around on the ground asking if anyone seen Wu Zhen. He climbed to the top of the building by foot, they didn't show it, but he got there and found her lying on the ground badly hurt. He picked her up but the building all round is collapsing like an inferno, so he naturally has to jump. This is fantasy he won't die, but at least he broke his knee, I know it's a plot device so he spends time with Wu Zhen, but at least he broke his knee. If he landed perfectly, that's even more unbelievable for a human. Wu Zhen is supernatural, a demon, she can fly, not Mei Zhuyu, that's why he broke his knee. In real life, he would die no one to catch him below. If Mei can fly around like Wu Zhen, he should have landed perfectly. But Mei does have very powerful qi energy perhaps that helped him to jump down but he broke his knee anyway. I guess he's not so perfect. His Qi magic is mostly used for exorcisms, talismans, and sensing spirits—not flashy martial arts or aerial maneuvers. so when I think about it that way, I'm like OK so he broke his knee, it's plausible despite his powerful qi.
Mei didn't' fly up and he didn't fly down, he jumped amid collapsing fire inferno, and even though he's human he has great and powerful qi that allowed him the energy to jump off, but he didn't land right. He's not used to jumping off buildings in his cultivation.
