I'm watching it on kisskh and in ep. 6, Xiao says to HT "This Ji Xing will be your nemesis in your career"? Is this a translation problem or a foreshadowing?
He said he got injured during some filming in the past. As he does all his action stun himself so it is dangerous…
thanks, I didn't know that part. I always wondered how he can do stunts but not play basketball and he seem fine to me but what you say makes sense. Old injuries can flair back up.
I think the problem with her relationship with Yichen is not so much that she was a workaholic and had little time for him, but he was unable to participate in her life which was her work. He wanted to be her biggest supporter and backer, but she is so independent. The dynamics with Han Ting are different.
Xu Kai must have enjoyed filming the basketball scenes. 😅He often used to go out to play basketball when he…
He was a Kobe Bryant fan growing up. I don't know if it's true, but I read that his injury on the set of Court Lady gave him some sort of permanent damage to his lower back that caused him to stop playing basketball. He probably has recovered.
He must have had fun shooting the basketball scene.
Did Han Ting purposely driving her to start up her own company or he did it inadvertently? It was his reminder that made her realized she needs to do the startup.
"Sometimes when one goes too far, he'll forget the way he has come. It's easy to have a dream but it's hard to stick to the dream. Only when you stick to your original dream can you finally get what you want."
I like the actor, Luo Ze Kai, who plays Xiao. I always remembered him from Royal Feast. I found him handsome and charming in his scenes with the crown prince (XK). Watching them here in ABAY, reminds me of their chemistry. I wonder why he has so few dramas. Acting must not be his main career.
This is what makes Ji Xing stands out. She is personable and talks to common folks and learns things you will not learn in school. She is brilliant and able to find solutions to real life problems.
The constant flashbacks to the college days and the robot competition reminds Han Ting of why he liked this girl. She has a brilliant mind, visionary, a passionate person, someone who will make an impact, and when she was feeding cat, she was cute. He remembered her speech when they won the national contest that her goal was to keep improving the technology to help improve people's lives, and she actually succeeded to take the prototype they worked on in the competition and developed it for medical use. Even though they did not have this past connection in the novel, but I think the reasons Han Ting likes her will be similar. I recall in the novel how Han Ting's cousin's passion for his bar reminded Han Ting of Ji Xing's passion for her work.
Ji Xing using her toes to tap her phone is both a Seven Tan moment and a Ji Xing moment. I doubt a director would come up with that. It fits the character so well. Seven Tan really brings out a lot of personality to her character.
"You handed out your business proposals as if they were leaflets."
