I read the Yu Zheng letter about Ep 40 ending is HE. Everything he said was exactly almost word for word what I said. Its crystal clear it was a HE. I loved the ending scene, much more exciting and beautiful than if the two ae standing next to each other staring at flowers falling. That would be so boring, anti-climatic and typical.

It does seem this director likes sadistic tones and themes, maybe that's why he built up the villains more than the good guys. Judging from the BE where the pendant fell off his mouth to the final ending where the pendant stayed on his mouth validates what I always thought that Ep 40 was a HE.
