I'm not shocked. It's because it's a Xu Kai drama. I've come to expect it and even predict what negative narratives will be. If the ml had been someone else, there would have been a lot less hate on the drama.

Because it's so true. I'm currently watching a drama and I can come up with so many negative narratives to drown out how good that drama is but because it's not a Xu Kai drama, you will never see that kind of negative narrative overtaking the comments section.

Not a dull moment for me. There are many scenes I can watch over and over again. The drama is rich with characters: Shang Gu/Ho Chi + Bai Jue/Qing Mu/Box Xuan, Bai Jue/Qing Mu + Tian Qi/Jing Yuan, Shang Gu/Ho Chi + Tian Qi/Jing Yuan, Tian Qi + Yue Mi, Shang Gu + Yue Mi, Bai Jue + Hong Ri, Fen Ran + Jing Jian, Hou Chi + Fen Ran, Mu Guang + Wu Huang, Ho Chi + Gu Jun, Qing Mu/Bai Jue + Jin Zhao, Qing Mu/Bai Jue + Gu Jun, Qing Mu + Jing Jian, Bai Jue + Yuan Qi. Hong Ri is not in the drama that much, but the drama was still able to cause me to feel emotional about his relationship with Bai Jue and his interactions with Shang Gu were sweet and entertaining even though brief.
