Because I have read the novel, I dont get surprise with what Lin Jinqi did to get married with Lanxiang, actually his character has been tone down a lot. I think the writer still need to keep similar trait with the novel (how obsessive ML to FL). I just curious how will they show us the relationship between Lanxiang and Lin Jinqi after they get married. Cant wait for the capital arc..

In the novel he choose to marry a noble lady to save his family, in the end their family got problem in the court so they choose to move out from capital..

Yes that actually one of my favorite part in the novel. That time LJQ is really dying and he is rescued by Lanxiang. Lanxiang also rescue ZXT and accompany her in her last time. Quite heartwarming moment in the novel.

I think because Zhao family is a close ally with current emperor, so they help emperor to clean up the ex emperor people including the deposed crown prince.

I remember Yang Zi drama "The Heir" when they talk about Li ink 😄
