This drama totally blew me away so much that I just have to give it a perfect 10 in all categories. I started the drama with little expectation as I basically watched it due to the plot synopsis which got me interested. I love dramas related to mystery and court cases.

I Hear Your Voice got me hooked right from day ONE due to its unique and original plot. There are quite a few cases in the drama, which is not surprising given its genre. However, the amazing part is how the scriptwriter manages to weave all these cases into a seamless drama comprises of elements of romance, comedy, suspense, thriller and friendship. There is never a single episode which is draggy and if not for my work commitment, I believe i could have marathon this show within 2 days.

Everyone acted superbly in the show and are truly lovable and realistic in their roles, even the villain has his own story (I won't reveal more on this though). The OSTs are excellent and catchy and they just make the whole experience of watching the drama even better.

I am sure I will rewatch this show in the future as it really warms your heart and makes your day. Give it a try and I am sure you won't regret the time spent, it is truly one of those rare breed among kdramas.

I was very skeptical about this drama when I read its synopsis and have been putting off watching this drama for quite a while (1 year in fact). As such I am very thankful for King2Heart and Arang and the magistrate for introducing me to Lee Seung Gi and Shin Ming Ah respectively. I love their respective characters so much that it prompted me to finally watch this drama which features both.

And what a right decision it has been! 16 hrs of fun filled entertainment with fair amount of tears flowing too....

Story: The story is refreshing and original. There was never a single episode where I feel its slow or boring. In fact, I cherish every little moment that the hoi couple shared. One good thing about the plot is that there is never really any "evil" characters in the show, just slight annoying perhaps but totally believable even they do what they did in the show.

Acting/Cast: Great chemistry between Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah. Shin Min Ah is so cute that she really makes you melt everytime she smile ..now I am a total convert, awaiting eagerly for her next drama. Even the supporting cast was outstanding.

Music: This is one drama where I love all the different OST (the different theme). Fox Rain is my favourite, a true classic!

Rewatch: I usually won't rewatch drama, but I dare say I will likely rewatch this very soon to reminisce all the cute moments of the Hoi couple.

For those looking for terrific 16 hrs of entertainment, this is a must watch!

LOCH is one of my favorite Jin Yong’s novels, having read and re-read the novel since young for almost 5 times. So naturally, I would not miss any of the TV-adaption of the novel. So far, the 1983 ver is the one that truly stand the test of time, and it left such a deep impression on me even though I was just a 9 years old kid back then.

This 2017 version, in my opinion came closest to the 1983 classics. It is almost 95% true to the novel and it’s a delight to hear the majestic 1983 OST as the starting background music.
The main casts, while relatively unknown, did a great job in portraying the characters they played. Li Yi Tong as Huang Rong deserves a special mention, as she was the closest to the 1983 Barbara Wong. In fact, when she first appears as a girl to meet Guo Jing, the image of Huang Rong under Jing Yong’s pen literally comes alive. I immediately had the Déjà vu feeling that this is the Huang Rong that I have imagine it to be all this while while reading the novel.

Another great selling point of this version is its wonderful cinematory and the attention to details of the martial arts moves, without relying blantantly on CGI which makes it a very authentic viewing experience. Personally, I cannot stand the over-reliance and abuse of CGI in many of the current martial arts dramas.

Definitely a drama worth watching and re-watching while waiting for another great Jin Yong’s novel to grace the TV. In fact, I am still in post- SheDiao’s withdrawal symptom after finishing the drama.

This is truly one under-rated and under-advertised drama. So far, of all the time travel dramas that I have watched, this has to be the one with the most original and ingenious plot.

It started off slowly but nicely in Tibet, which sort of set the perfect scene for a mystic journey of time travel. From then on, you will be kept on the edge of your seat as each episode produce one after another unexpected events. I was never able to second guess what exactly will happen next. On many occasions, I was thinking that's it, the story should be completed and it will be happy ending thereafter, but the next twist again proves me completely wrong. . The ending is very meaningful but needs a bit of thought process to appreciate it. Surprisingly, there is not a single loose end to the plot, everything just ties in together perfectly and logically despite the time travel element (which in itself is the most consistent and logical means compared to the other time travel dramas)

The highlight of the drama was the charisma of Lee Jin Wook or rather his portrayal of Park Sun Woo. His character's dry humor even when facing with adversity is really spot on and Jin Wook really makes Sun Woo comes alive.

The only bad point of this show in my opinion is the lack of quality OST. There is only one (the main one) which left some impression, but the rest or lack-of are forgettable. Don't think this show has much rewatch value after you watched it once because you would have knew all the twists that are going to happen. Also, other than superb acting of Jin Wook, there is really no "star names" in this drama which would prompt you to do a re-watch.

I started watching K-dramas two years ago and this being my very first maiden drama review on this site speaks volume about "Rooftop Prince" and the impression it has left on me. Three days had passed since I completed the show and the touching scenes within the show kept flashing in my mind even when I am writing this review.

Story:
At the beginning, it seems to have the making to be just a pure comedy given the ridiculous time travel element and yes, the first few episodes were very light hearted but they did a superb job in introducing the bigger scheme of things to come as well as set the stage for an epic romance between Lee Gak/Tae Yong and Park Ha that transcend the test of time and space. There were lots of heart-warming as well as heart-wrenching moments between those two. I witnessed my wife cried like a baby on several ocassions :)

Without revealing any potential spoilers, I personally like the last two episodes and I thought it was a beautiful and poetic way to end such a wonderful show even though it does leave you with a tinge of sadness. I think the message here is love will stand the test of time and to be together is worth celebrating no matter what may happen in the future.

Cast:
I can't find a single fault with any of the actors and actresses. They were totally into their roles. I like Mickey ever since I watched him in Sungkunkwan Scandal and I thought he was already very good then. In this show, he more than better his own performance. As for Han Ji Min, well, what can I say, this is the first time I ever watched her and I am already a fully converted fan of her after this show. Everytime she cries, she has the ability to make you feel really sad for Park Ha. I am already planning to watch her Padam Padam and Yi San after this show.

Music:
The OST for this drama is simply stunning especially the main theme song (not the funny one but the sad one, those who watched the show will know which one I am referring to). The lyrics brought out the essence of the entire show perfectly. If you listen to the song together with the lyrics especially during those heart-wrenching moments, it does makes u feel like crying.

Rewatch Value:
Usually I won't rewatch dramas because you already know the plot but this is one which I will definitely rewatch again within the next 3 months. It was that good!

This is one of the most intellectually awesome drama I have ever watched for quite a while. When I saw the synopsis of this drama, I knew I had to watch it because I myself is in the IT security industry. And, to say that I am glad that I have watched it is an understatement.

Every episode right from the first kept you glued to the TV screen because of the suspense and the way the plot is being developed. I can personally attest to the authenticity of the technology and techniques shown and watching it actually makes me like my own job even more.

Of course, a good plot and script would not have succeeded without a good cast. This is where the whole acting cast did a fantastic job, personally I am surprised by the acting of Uhm Ki Joon, he played the villain role superbly considering how well he also acted as the super good teacher in Dream High. Lee Yeon Hee is as beautiful as ever though I feel that she is simple too pretty and delicate to be a cop chasing criminals lol, nonetheless she did a great job as a rose among the thorns.

The OST of this drama complement the entire show well especially at key moments which actually adds to the feeling of suspense and intrigue.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire journey in the virtual cyberworld of the show, now back to the real cyberworld where I worked in :)

Firstly, I must say that I am not a fan of melodrama and I almost skipped this drama after watching the first two episodes. The starting was a bit confusing and too slow for my liking. However, I must say that the cast saved the day, I thought the acting by the three main casts were fantastic and they can really roused your emotion.

The backdrop of the entire drama potrays a gloomy feeling, not the typical bright and cheerful type of backdrop for the usual kdramas. I think this suits the drama's plot perfectly but again it does make my heart heavier after returning home from a heart day's work expecting something lighter and more cheerful. Having said that, there are various great scenaries up for showcase in the drama so much so that it makes you feel like visiting Korea.

I can't really appreciate the fantasy part of the drama but I guess its necessary for the entire plot. Having said that, I would have given this drama a rating of 7 if not for the last episode, which I felt was very meaningful in how we should approach life's every moment and treasure what we have.

Overall, this is a meaningful drama to watch but be prepared to watch with a heavy heart. The acting was excellent. If you are looking for something light and funny to spend your leisure time, stay away from it though.

As it stands, this is my "K-drama of the year'! Everything about this drama is fantastic from the start to the end and it just draws you in.

Story:
This drama gets you going right from the first two episodes with a beautiful but sad love story which set the tone for the rest of the drama. Its unlike some other Sanguek dramas where there are just plots after plots by the evil guys. This drama also focuses on the unconditional love between the two main leads with their cute and sweet moments (and of course the really sad part where u need to set aside some boxes of tissues).

Cast:
In my opinion, Suzy has improved a lot in her acting since her Dream High debut. Of course, it does help that her character Dam Yeo Wool is a very loveable character. I would really love to see her in more dramas after this. Lee Seung Gi shows us once again what a fantastic actor he is and he was so natural in the Kang Chi's role.

Music:
The OSTs are simply amazing. I played them over and over again in my car and during office hours. Of all the OSTs, I especially love Suzy's "I will never forget you" and Baek Ji Young's "Spring Rain".

Rewatch value:
To be frank, I usually don't rewatch dramas as there are simply too many good dramas to catch up with. But I may rewatch some of the heart warming scenes (and even the sad scenes) in this one.

Overall:
If you like Sanguek with fantasy elements coupled with a great love story, then this drama is for you. Of course, if you are Lee Seung Gi or Suzy's fans, this is a must watch!

Fans of this drama will not want to read my review. If I were to summarise it in one word, it's "overrated".

Having watched Rooftop Prince before this, I was very eager to watch this show especially after seeing that it has an even higher rating than Rooftop Prince, which to me is one of the best drama I ever watched this year. But when you have high hope like this, I guess you get disappointed more easily.

Let's talk about the good point of this drama first - the excellent chemistry between the two leads. Yes, this is what kept me going and why this drama does not score even lower in my overall rating. Their chemistry were so good that if anyone has told me that they are real-life lovers during the show, I would have believed it 100% (yes, and it turns out that they are!). If you want a show with sweet romance, this is really an excellent show!

Now onto the bad point - the plot! I felt the starting was a bit messy and confusing especially the josen period, but that is still tolerable, what is not quite tolerable is the inconsistency of the time-travel element. At first, it was very clear how the time travel could be activated, however midway through the show, it seems that some instances of the time-travel does not seems quite consistent, there was a particular part in the show which makes me felt like a 3 yrs old child, i.e. being cheated in the most illogical fashion. (I shall not say which part it is due to spoiler)

Basically, if you just want pure heart-warming romance, this is the show for you, but please do not apply any rational thinking while watching the show, just follow the flow and you will be happier. I mean, even though the concept of time travel is already irrational in the first place, but if you were to compare for the sake of comparison, in Rooftop Prince, you have a much more believable and convincing plot to the time-travelling irrationality.

This is an excellent melodrama with a awesome cast in Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won. Just the two of them makes this show a must-watch, and they do not disappoint with their versatile and excellent acting.

Story:
The story got me hooked right from the 1st episode. The revenge theme was not new on its own but the way it was written in this drama makes u feel on the edge of the seat. You will find yourself empathize with Kang Ma Ru and Seo Eun Gi and even with the evil casts of Han Jae Hee and the evil lawyer. I love the ending (was not expecting it) but like what some of the other users' reviews wrote, it took a while to figure out what happened. On hindsight, had it been any other endings...it would have been really cruel.

Acting/Cast:

This is a perfect 10 for me. Song Joong Ki's acting was a revelation especially coming right after his performance in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The emotion roller coaster he portrayed in this show was perfect. And, I really love Moon Chae Won, my favourite Korean actress after watching Princess's Man. The range of emotions she portrayed as Sun Eun Gi was unbelievable and she once again showed us how good an actress she is.

Music:
The ost was excellent in evoking the emotions of the show. It just makes the great show even better.

Rewatch Value:

I don't usually rewatch drama so that's explain my rating. If ever I were to rewatch, its because of both the leads.

Overall:

This is easily my drama of the year for 2012, now that 2012 is coming to an end soon.

Without disclosing too much spoiler, the following quote from Maru in one of the very touching scene really sums up what this drama is all about:

"I hear the laughter of my friend, my sister, and my love.

They are part of the most beautiful, delicious, and fascinating dream in the world, that I can ever dream.

Afraid that if I open my eyes, I'll wake up from my dream, so I can't open my eyes in fear.

For this beautiful morning, thank you for gifting it to me. I won't be greedy and ask for more. I won't expect any more.

Right now, I am happy"
