yeah… I can’t say much until I see the last episode and it need to do a VERY BIG LIFTING not for the “relationship” but the whole -“ok we good, imma do my things, imma be a new person”-. The only thing saving them (the character and plot)is if they show Lee dying on the inside watching the drawing and the pick like tormenting him and just wanting to tell him that he has feelings and he’s just sacred. Plus returning the pick could’ve been a cute moment if it were phrase differently like “you gave me all the support I need it with it, I’m returning it so u can charge it and then if u want to cheer me up again at a big moment u jus need to return it” like that it’s a nod to “ I don’t wanna loose u and if we are apart we’ll just keep coming back as friends or more”… well if anyone is doing a fanfic pleas use this and credit me lol.

Yessss!! ugh I don’t like it when ppl just rate them bc the do or not like the main leads or other characters like that’s part of a whole thing not just one. Also a great example is this Korean Movie “Method” I saw it a couple of weeks ago and my god I loved it, and even more bc I like theater a lot and method-acting is a real thing plus the complexity of it and knowing how bad it can go it’s part of why I loved this movie. Plus something I saw after my review here on it, for the time that this movie came out it was a big deal in Korean culture bc it was a the beginning of them doing more queer stuff and how it reflected the actions on the movie vs reality and being close. BUT BC so many don’t understand the end or how things moved quickly or over the top they decided it’s a bad queer movie.

I do it very objectively for my well being. Bc I NEVER gonna rate something less than 6. 5 is the bare minimum of doing a production and putting it out there. I try to rate it equally bc at the end the movies and series are a group thing not only the main leads, not licking a character is not something to downplay a work just think if u don’t like the character, the acting or the casting or how the present the character, if its none of those well it’s a bias by observation most likely. But every single one of us have our own why to rate something.

For me depends of the is a short (10-12 or less) or a long (12+) formats. But my criteria’s never change drastically: Scenery, Clothing, Legnth(this one is big for me either you did good or u you could’ve shorted or prolonged some parts/ add), Sounds/OSTs (any weird silences, spikes of sound, muted music or whatever, either good or bad), Plot development ( main and sides plots presented), Character development (main and side characters if they are relevant), Acting ( all actors), Trama (drama, comedy etc all any trope presented well) + any adds or CGI or AI used well or not. [I just rate everything out of 10 and then + then / and yea there’s my number… if I see the number to be under the low side but I did like it I pump it a .5 more, if it’s revers the I put it down .5

The whole thing of “imma try new things and be open minded” could’ve been so much better, go so many ways and in different directions but no, it had to be another romantic/ platonic thing 🙃.

tho imma be real, in a objective sense, if they don’t touch at least half of things left out in ep7… cuteness and silliness are not gonna save my own rating. at the end the thing that would made this series better it’s the length… shorter is some scenes and longer in characters background and development… so it had a better impact in episode 7 to 8.

I just finished watching it, and did my lil Review on it. Just asking… why is this rated lower than 9 AT LEAST!?
Like don’t get me wrong I do think they could have added a bit more to each character (backstory/ individual character growth) but all that was need it was in there already!! This film is Beautiful and to does that lower their rating just because “I don’t get it, it ended weird, there’s no context” I just say “STOP USING YOUR EYES and start THINKING!” not every movie or series are meant to be serve for the sex-hungry, closed-minded, ill-ignorants people.
Ps: sorry had to rant lol. Also if you don’t know what a method-acting is i encourage you to first research it and then you’ll understand the movie and how well done the actors were depicting it.

But then again, the true highlight of the show for now is the interaction with his mom and his understanding when his wrong even when he dosent like to be called-out. pretty mature compare to other series of the same age or type.
I’m surprised this series is getting mid-average reviews when is a Hot 10 across the board. From soundtrack to chills when the Main just sees her and how much he does to be near her, calculated, confident, not even a doubt or feeling of doing “a bad thing”. The way I have to remind myself that his charm is not fully authentic and it’s already planned or foreseen. Ugh I can’t I need more, I do mostly Bls but once every blue moon I get it to a drama or slice of life to ground myself and this is it.
And dont get me even stared in the side plots if they keep it short(8-10) but with the same pacing it’s gonna be one of my favorite in a while.
it’s that perfect combination of: Chills, Icky, Worried, Suspense, etc. if this is not your cup of tea 🍵 I’m sorry.
