right?? the concept is really good/strong… it kind of feels like a melodrama.. too bad it will only last 2-4…
the posters have gone viral in Korea... there are tweets with millions of views i came across today and people are asking for a full on drama.. so it's not just us 😭😭
8 months of filming is crazy cuz it was originally only supposed to last for 6 months
not you really forming a whole legal team over 9 days 😭.... n sure I’ll take the case but I’m billing in months.. since apparently that’s how we do time now
Appreciate the clarification, but just to be clear—I wasn’t forcing anything on anyone, I left a comment, ppl responded, and I replied back. All I did was stand by what I said in the first place, which I’m allowed to do. That’s not being “eager” or trying to shove anything.. it’s just called a discussion.
anyway i never said character growth is only about how he fights and i'm not dismissing the parts of Si Eun’s growth you pointed out. I agree that his development goes beyond fighting. I’m also not saying Si Eun needs to turn into some elite fighter or ditch his core personality. I just feel like after everything he’s been through, constantly being dragged into fights, taking hits left and right.. it wouldn’t hurt for him to learn a bit more like he did in season 1 and make things easier on himself. That’s not even about liking violence, it’s about survival and not having to struggle every single time.
We clearly see things differently, and that’s always fine. But i'd appreciate it if you didn’t twist what I said into something it wasn’t. 👍🏼
damn chill tf out. I made one comment saying it’d make logical sense for Si Eun to actually get better at fighting—especially when he’s constantly in situations where people are beating the hell out of him—and suddenly you’re talking like I insulted your life’s work. “Tell that to the producer”? Bro, you good? You act like I called for a full reboot when all I did was point out a valid observation.
We all know he doesn’t like fighting. That’s literally been the point from the start. But hating violence doesn’t mean you just sit there catching hands every time. Ever heard of growth? Character development? He doesn’t have to go full martial arts prodigy, but learning to defend himself doesn’t contradict his values—it supports them.
And that “go make your own story” line? lol weakest response ever. We’re in a comment section for a reason—to talk about the show. If people aren’t allowed to say what they wish happened, what are we doing here? You’re pressed over someone having a different take, not realizing you’re the only one taking it personal.
also baek jin definitely won that fight. They had to gang up on him just to take him down… dude's an absolute…
Yeah, I get that he doesn’t care about fighting but at this point, it’s survival. Being small and frail is more of a reason to learn how to defend yourself, not less...
im assuming donald is baek jin's name in the webtoon… if he’s supposed to be the strongest, I’m low key disappointed for the future antagonists for this drama lol.
Exactly, it’s not like he has a choice not to fight... so what’s stopping him from actually getting better at it? Learning to fight doesn’t mean he has to go around starting fights and like them, it just means he can protect himself and his friends better.
for example these 2 tweets and Pop Core tweeting about it going viral
