The last arc felt draggy with TW's disapproving mom/MY needing a 2nd transplant and I didn't like MY/SA getting back together in the ending. I was so sad for him when he showed up at the main leads wedding, feels like he was the bigger victim from all of this. I guess SH/MY love wasn't that strong since they could easily believe SA's lies/didn't clear up their misunderstandings earlier and SH being blinded by revenge. I would've liked to see SH struggle with liking 2 guys at the same time but it seems like she got over MY easily after he found out about her giving him her liver.

watching the new guy makes me miss Jung Min's flirty/playful side when he first showed up in the drama and met Ji Eun, like he could say cheesy lines like "The Avengers protect the earth but I'm here to protect you" and still make me giggle xD

hopefully this new guy won't be taking up too much screentime (he wasn't in the original version so he is like a filler character to me) I'd rather the writer focus more on SH instead since he was supposed to be the ML here but he felt more like a 2nd lead ever since the time skip.

"You can't seem to take your eyes off my six pack abs, so why don't you try touching it?" *cringe* I can't take him seriously, dude looks like a teenager in comparison to the other 2 older/manlier guys which doesn't really match with the drama, I'd rather touch Seo Ha Joon's ;)

I only watched 7 out of 15 on the list but I was more interested in Lee Da Hee & Ahn Jae Hyun in The Beauty Inside than the main leads and I was rooting for Kim Woo Bin in The Heirs xD

Thank you Ockanna. I'm sorry I got overly enthusiastic about CJH, it's just that I really loved his last character he played in ZD/missed watching him there since it was a short series so that's why I mentioned him (plus after finishing Gu Family Book too at the same time which I was addicted to so it felt like double withdrawal symptoms for me). I did check out this drama for him at first but stayed for the main leads. Also I could be watching both his dramas and this one at the same time anyways...

I was surprised to hear him sing Flowerpot since I've listened to this song over a decade ago... it's originally by Loveholic, Alex (Clazziquai)'s version was also a cover of it. I liked Hwang In Yeop' s singing though ^^
now more people will be listening to these older songs 'cause of True Beauty.

I got addicted to daily dramas after watching 3 in a row (Gracious Revenge, Fatal Promise, A Man in a Veil) so I'm looking forward to this one.. I am watching every daily drama in this time slot from now on lmao I always get hooked to these cliche makjang plots even though they're rated low on MDL, like A Man in a Veil which is almost ending but the cliffhangers at the end of every episode are killing me xD

Yeah I knew that he was only a cameo/guest role, and the actors are decent in this (I've watched SHS in 7 other dramas before and was a fan of KJH in Waikiki so they also kept me watching this one even though I am generally not a fan of historical dramas)

I came here after watching Zombie Detective, was excited about his cameo appearance in the first episode but his voiceover made the show more lively along with SHS' acting.

Ep 14 - I got nostalgic when Seo Jun sang Flowerpot by Loveholic which I first listened to over a decade ago along with Alex (Clazziquai)'s version. His singing voice was pretty nice.

Now I just realized that's the same bridge from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?

yeah I was more interested when Choi Jin Hyuk was still around in the drama even with only his voice in it, but other than watching the main leads everything else is boring me. I hope he will make an appearance again at the end of this drama since he was the main reason why I started this.

yeah S2 just didn't click with me too it was boring/re-used some jokes from S1, I barely laughed at the entire show. Plus I hated that the writer broke up Jun Ki/Seo Jin.
But while watching Zombie Detective (Choi Jin Hyuk's most recent drama) the humor kinda gave me similar feelings of Waikiki S1...

+1 The Last Empress & Come! Jang Bo Ri.
+ Five Fingers, which is also this writer's older drama, I'm still watching it myself but the first few episodes got me hooked with the child actors in it.
Hua Jai Sila (2019) was pretty exciting too the hidden identity/revenge plot reminded me of a makjang drama.

ugh same... I hated what they did to NWS and no one even cared about his death in the end.
