After reading many negative comments in the start I thought this is not good but now i am regretting my decision…
finally someone else who's not into TB.. don't really get the hype over that drama maybe other people are into fluffy rom coms with 2 cute guys in it but CEW's character feels almost the same as MIIGB (which I actually liked better for some reason) and I don't find the plot/script all that great to be 8.7
I feel the same, can't understand this rating here. Those cliffhangers in the end of each episode are killing…
this sentence... it reminds me exactly of how I feel about daily makjang dramas LMAO but I like it when they play that OST song at the end of every episode here (the instrumental piano/drums part is my favourite part of the song)
At one point YR even tried to kidnap YJ to get rid of MW's stuff so she can't do any more DNA tests with him (she…
I only hang around/bother to write long rants about shows I actually enjoy haha like with another low rated drama Fashion King... I wasn't that hooked to this one in the beginning tbh but now I'm always dying for the next episodes, the cliffhangers at the end of every episodes are killing me ;D
I’ve tried but I think I’m done. This is the most ridiculous drama EVER!! I would see one episode then stop…
I keep seeing complaints about this drama and a few others but makjang/dailies like this are supposed to be "ridiculous" and make your blood boil lol unless it's a more toned down/serious show like Money Flower or A Place in the Sun.. for some reason I am easily amused/entertained by these types of dramas/can put up with all these long # of episodes yet I find slow paced slice of life dramas boring/a drag to watch lmao it feels like whatever shows MDLers like nowadays I find meh but enjoying the stuff that they don't xD
After read your comments I REALLY WANT TO START IT RIGHT NOW! Should I? I'm afraid of SLS lol I'm a sucker for…
lol sure why not.. I worry about SLS too since I like watching Jung Min here much more than in the original 2004 version, he is my favourite character/main reason for watching this drama. Nothing really keeps my attention either nowadays unless it's a makjang drama xD A Man in a Veil is at ep 90s you can binge that one too I'm addicted to it even though other people are hate-watching it, those cliffhangers at the end of every episode are killing me... feels like whatever shows MDLers are enjoying nowadays I find meh but stuff they don't like I enjoy them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
YR's dad is being inconsistent, at first he tells the secretary the kid died long time ago but later he tells him she got engaged/married?? Edit: nvm I misunderstood this before watching that plot twist of him taking SJS kid who was YJ. Re-watching those parts of eps 91-92 makes more sense to me now.
can someone fill me up in what is going on XD i missed these last 2 weeks and it seems this keeps getting more…
At one point YR even tried to kidnap YJ to get rid of MW's stuff so she can't do any more DNA tests with him (she wanted to get revenge on her because of MW's death) but TP finds her location and manages to save her from some thugs (he wasn't strong enough to beat up all of them but he uses a fake police siren to scare them off). She thought SJ saved her at first but eventually she couldn't deny her feelings for TP anymore and breaks up with SJ. He gets more possessive of her and he tries to get rid of TP and the aunt (ending her contract with DL shop) YR recorded SJ mom's voice of her trying to kill Seo Ji Sook (Yoon Su Hee) 30 years ago and tried to blackmail her with it to help with her pregnancy lie but SJ also finds out about it and eventually managed to find/delete it.
SJ aunt and Sang Tae were going to meet up with SJ mom/dad but Hwa Yeon sees he is related to SJS so she stops Woo Seok from meeting her (faked being sick) and tries convincing Mi Ri to break up with him because of his past and that he's after her money. MR found out he was framed for accepting a bribe (tissue box with money) but he cleared that issue up by visiting/questioning that man with TP. He also found out about TP's identity by seeing a photo of TP's mom in his drawer. He was upset for a while but after finding out the vlog guy was paid to lie about his confession he believed TP/got along with him again. TP confesses to aunt SJS about his real identity and past.
TP decides to make WS and SJS meet up again by inviting her over to the dad's office. He is shocked to see her while she has tears in her eyes and faints in front of him. They try to deny her identity/hometown for their safety but WS had a feeling about her being SJS because of an old song that she listens to and she knew the meaning of the violet flower on the handkerchief which represented their love. YR steals WS' handkerchief/old photo of SJS which he usually keeps in his desk drawer, found out who she was and gives it to SJ mom so she can hide it from him. SJS finally remembers her old lover by looking at old photos of them together from a photo studio while on an errand for Ye Jin and came across him playing music at a bar they used to go to. They reunite but later on she gets a text telling her to go to a construction site for info about her past. HY and her secretary are standing in an empty building while trying to drop something at her head outside of a window. She doesn't get hit but goes to a hospital anyways meanwhile HY makes up an article about her and WS having an affair with each other now they can't see each other openly.
YJ ends up hearing outside of a door at home that she was adopted. Secretary Koo and YR dad used to be friends long time ago now they meet up again, he asks how his daughter is doing since she had heart surgery when she was a kid. He is being suspiciously nosy about YJ and does a DNA test of her meanwhile YR dad switched her toothbrush with YR's so that it looks like they are related on the results. SJ finally figures out who YR's family members are and that she was married before/had a kid with TP by fixing her broken phone while giving her a new one and seeing a photo of MW's birth certificate in it. In the end of ep 92 he is at a restaurant with YR, YJ and TP, he says he found a cause for divorcing YR and wants TP to be their divorce representative/calls out TP's real name *cliffhanger ending*
well that was a long ass comment, I should get some hearts/upvotes for taking the time to write all this xD
by reading you guy comment. it a good thing i drop this drama.when i did or else i would have be coming here every…
feels like I'm the only one still enjoying this lmao I can't get into regular airing kdramas but I'm addicted to this everyday... well actually makjang dramas is the only thing I feel motivated to watch nowadays ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If they get viewers then they can get more episodes because, $$. This drama is being hate watched which is another…
oddly I thought I read an older comment here before (few months ago?) someone actually thought YJ was adopted/not their real daughter. They guessed it right lol now it feels like another similarity to Come! Jang Bo Ri.
It was okay for me, I watched this when it aired 3 years ago but I liked that it felt kinda different from whatever…
Yeah daily dramas are usually rated low for some reason especially the makjang ones but I'm addicted to A Man in a Veil right now even though it's rated 6.8 and some people complaining about it..
I think daily dramas in this time slot are usually like that, like I've noticed with the previous 2 dramas Fatal Promise & Gracious Revenge also got extended by a few episodes.
I'm thinking of starting this tonight but I have so many doubts. I don't have expectations but the reviews really…
It was okay for me, I watched this when it aired 3 years ago but I liked that it felt kinda different from whatever generic kdramas are airing nowadays and I loved Seo Ji Hye in this. Low rated reviews don't really matter for me like with Fashion King being the lowest rated drama (?) on MDL but I still got addicted to it lol meanwhile being bored of most highly rated popular dramas nowadays. The ending was quite emotional for me especially with the OST song playing in the ending credits.
coming back to this comment section, I still think this is fhe saddest k-drama ending for me (and I didn't even cry for other "sad" endings like Moon Lovers or Mr. Sunshine) but these types of endings hits me hard whenever I see people dying from old age with someone beside them T_T still wondering what happened to the ML in the end??
@sunset Hope all is well! HNY! A Good Supper, so far, a promising and intriguing start. True beauty, although…
actually it is late for me I should be sleeping right now lol So Wayree sounds interesting I think I might have that on my PTW list. Good night/enjoy your day too ^^
@sunset Hope all is well! HNY! A Good Supper, so far, a promising and intriguing start. True beauty, although…
they'll stretch it out with the stepmom's story (Phoenix 2020) Not surprised daily dramas get extended too like the previous 2 in this same time slot. I'm not watching that drama right now but I agree Ro Woon is handsome (I first noticed him in Extraordinary You) am looking forward to Sisyphus, it looks like an exciting action drama based on the trailer?
*is internally screaming at the end of ep 88* the best cliffhanger so far?! I feel more interested in the veteran actors' love story more than TP/YJ, for some reason I find Cha Woo Seok (Hong Il Kwon) kinda handsome for an ahjussi actor..

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope your mom gets better <3 yep I was pretty excited about the end of ep 88 now I'm eager to see what happens next. This is still the most exciting airing drama for me even though other people are complaining about it lol
