have only seen Rooftop Prince, Moon Embracing the Sun and The Innocent Man on that list. I finished Gu Family Book yesterday, this was also an addicting drama that I missed out on for a long time! Now I feel like watching The Scholar Who Walks the Night, Arang and the Magistrate or Faith for another historical fantasy k-drama..
It was an unexpected twist that Seo Hwa actually survived, but if she did die back then, would Wol Ryung still be in demon form forever? Was it even possible for Kang Chi to kill him since WR was way older and had more fighting experience than him? I wished there could've been another way for him to be normal again, seeing how his veins disappeared from his neck, and happy ending for both couples.. WR should've sucked the life out of those villains but they are always the last to die -_-
I gave this drama a 9 and I'm very picky with dramas. ANYONE WHO WANTS A GOOD DRAMA TO WATCH NEEDS TO WATCH THIS…
I'm also picky with dramas but this one was very addicting, I was hooked to watching the actors/story and instrumental BGM was great. Although I am still iffy about the last few episodes and the conclusion of WR's character. It's funny I actually felt tired/sleepy from watching a few other dramas but I actually felt awake again when watching this one LOL
Interview with the PD about a possible season 2. I really hope it happens, and not just a bunch of empty promises.…
Thanks for posting these! I hope that season 2 can be as good as the first with the same cast/vibe, I just don't want another disappointment like with Eulachacha Waikiki 2 -_-
Just finished the last ep and I really really enjoyed this! It's been a while since I watched k dramas so this…
I keep thinking it's also a gag, like when they tried to mislead us with the FL turning into a zombie too but the doctor part seemed random, as if there's zombies somewhere else in this world and they wanted to put in hopes for the ML? And he has holes in his body too, I don't know how they will fix those but I guess in DOTS they managed to save a guy with a big metal piece stuck in his body so anything is possible in K-dramas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The ML is supposed to be the only "Zombie Detective" in this drama so it won't feel special anymore if SR turns into one too. I'm also not really a fan of "typical" K-dramas either, I've been struggling to like many popular hyped dramas since last year but this one was fun to watch every week. I also rate this a 9 for the entertainment, that's pretty high coming from me since I keep rating everything low nowadays.

for similar comedy dramas I recommend Eulachacha Waikiki (similar slapstick humor and references/cameos), Spring Turns to Spring (also starring Ahn Se Ha as a funny supporting character) and Perfume (rom com) and maybe Legal High (Korean version, since I didn't watch the J-drama) the FL works with an eccentric ML, I felt some SLS there like with ZD. This one was an OK watch for me but I loved the other 3 listed up there more.
You think that's long? Some lakorns are 1hr 50min xD
I put Hide and Seek on hold, but I am watching A Man in a Veil (same writer of Mysterious Personal Shopper) it has some similarities to Come! Jang Bo Ri with the evil/greedy FL, ML revenge and FL adopting her baby who she abandoned. The first 20 eps felt slow but it got more interesting after the ML turns into a prosecutor. also tried the first few eps of Phoenix 2020 even though I never heard of the original one before.
Man, after being a little disappointed with Record of Youth, I watched the finale of Zombie Detective and was…
yeah ZD is underrated, I'd imagine people who liked Eulachacha Waikiki might like this show too so where are those other 10000+ watchers? I've no interest in ROY since slice of life dramas bore me but the comment section there is pretty amusing xD
Guys,While you were sleeping Or I hear your voiceWhich one is better ?? And why ??
I did enjoy both but IHYV felt more like a "classic" than WYWS, some people thought the beginning eps were good but it got repetitive later with the dreaming thing. The actors/characters felt more genuine/memorable in IHYV, like some situations made me cry more here like with Lee Da Hee and when the courtroom apologized to that man (forgot his name since I watched this a long time ago) Kim Kwang Gyu was the funniest supporting actor here for me while I didn't really care for the supporting characters in WYWS (it looked like they were trying too hard to be funny) other than Kim Won Hae. But I guess younger generations of watchers may prefer the younger actors and more modern cinematography/OSTs of WYWS..
Not the best drama but it had a lot of funny scenes and after this I'm positive that I'm in love with Choi Jin…
agreed with Yobi, except I didn't watch Pride and Prejudice yet. I also fell in love with his DJ/GFB characters within the first 30 mins of ep 1, and his character Gu Wol Ryung shows up again in ep 13. I heard of some people getting SLS for him in Fated to Love You which I am probably going to watch next. Of all the dramas I saw him in I was most addicted to Gu Family Book & The Last Empress since I love watching makjang dramas and he was also a badass fighter/bodyguard there but I gotta admit that the villains stole the show. He and Tae Hang Ho played the same character too so it was funny seeing that TLE reference in ZD ep 3.

I agree if the show is good then I won't feel the length. As for daily dramas, I will only watch the makjang ones LOL slice of life dramas will bore me like with that new one "No Matter What" I saw Kim Jin Woo was in the cast list (loved him in Left-Handed Wife) but the show itself wasn't interesting enough to keep me watching it everyday and I didn't even see him at all in the first 8 eps. But makjang dailies have that addictive factor to keep me watching such long dramas xD

depends on the show for me I can watch for up to 3 hrs before getting tired and want to take a break. There are some shows that are only 45 mins. I struggled to watch those highly rated ones like Kluen Cheewit and Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat (unpopular opinion) not just because of the length but I didn't really get into the hype over those 2 so the duration felt even longer to me.
I haven't had this much fun watching a comedy drama (without romance) since last year's Spring Turns to Spring (also starring Ahn Se Ha who plays a funny supporting character there) you guys can check that one out if you want another hilarious drama (if you haven't watched it already) :D
That Ghostbusters part had me die laughing!! It made me feel like i'm in a Halloween Mood!!At the end of the episode...…
I'm thinking they're trying to mislead us again like they did in the beginning of the show where KMY almost bit the FL and another scene also showed her looking in a mirror with zombie makeup on but she didn't actually turn into one. I think turning Sung Rok into a zombie takes away the point of the show where the ML is supposed to be the only "Zombie Detective". I also wanted to see Tae Gyun's reaction to him being a zombie, they could even make him star in one of his zombie movies too which would've been a cooler post-ending credits instead. I rate this at least a 9 for the entertainment :D that's pretty high coming from me since I keep rating everything low nowadays.
I always find foreign actors amusing to watch, like that cringy surfer guy from The Heirs.
It's funny I actually felt tired/sleepy from watching a few other dramas but I actually felt awake again when watching this one LOL
