First 4 eps were meh... It got better at ep 5 onwards though The side couple (Jung Ran/Nae Chun) is funny, they kinda reminded me of the side couple in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho with their cringy dialogues/funny situations. It's funny Lee Yoo Ri is the evil one here in this drama, similarly opposite to what happened in The Promise where she was the victim and the guy left her and her kid. edit: I'm loving it so far now, even if I tried watching the c-drama I don't think I would be as hooked as watching the original since I love/connect with the Korean actors here more and I'm more into the makjang than romance (for some reason the c-drama makes it look more like a romance drama based on the poster & title?) this screenwriter's humor is on point for me as well since I also got addicted to The Last Empress!
#fact...not a good idea to binge watch a melodrama. take breaks!
I love binging a good makjang/melodrama... it's the only thing I feel motivated to watch nowadays lol what I like about daily dramas (the few that I've seen) is they have good cliffhangers compared to those regular 1 hr dramas. I'm also excited to binge on The World of The Married after it's done airing this week, I've heard it's intense/wild! :D
Bro everyone was saying this drama is not for binge-watching.. and here I am just started it yesterday and I CAN'T…
I'm excited to binge this after it's done airing! Someone here told me not to since it may affect me mentally ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°) at least, for them. I love makjang so this is gonna be exciting for me
That's what I've been thinking after each and every episode, but after 8 episodes my hopes have died along with…
I couldn't get into SKY Castle until literally the end of ep 8, it was addicting after that though! I loved that elevator rescue scene in ep 8 (Healer) I tried HP recently but I was bored with the first few eps, maybe because I'm not really into slice of life/medical dramas. I love intense makjangs like The World of the Married / The Last Empress instead xD
Meh... too much talking and hanging out here and there, cliche romance and unnecessary scenes, and above all,…
so agreed with this... I really wanted to like this because of LMH, WDH & JEC. The drama would've been better if they had less fillers and focused on the main plot sooner, while taking time for the romance to develop. I was expecting a more epic story because of the palace settings and parallel universes. "too much talking and hanging out here and there" lol this is why I find slice of life shows boring xD
so many comparisons with Mr. Sunshine I gotta see it now (I put off watching it before since I'm not really a fan of historical dramas)
