My view differs from the popular opinion on forums that Hu Xiu instead working as a subordinate in the ML’s…
Totally agree with you, and this is a really solid take. You explained Hu Xiu’s priorities so well — she’s clearly more about learning, craftsmanship, and growth than dealing with corporate politics. The alignment with the ML as an architect makes so much sense too, both professionally and intellectually.
Their eye chemistry is sooo good I'm in loveeee 😭😭😭and outfits so preety,I thank the stylist ,I don't…
at first I thought there was something sus about him but after showing what he is really up to, my doubts are cleared for now...I think they kinda do have tension but Zhiyu is still winning
Good drama so far....the only thing during her interview, asked her a question in English? I was like huh? maybe…
They were testing her intelligence to see if she can be at par with others who already have more established architectural background than her. What I liked about that scene is it showcased Lu Yuxiao's english skills. Her pronounciation was good and she sounded fluent.
I might have skipped a little .. I'm lost; when did XZY recognise HX was the player from the game. He first recognised…
I had a feeling he knew it was her from the moment they first met in real life. It felt like he was deliberately avoiding her after hearing from his friends that she was asking about his schedule and all that.
Havent start watching this! is it better than Shine on Me guys? I dropped SOM after 5 or 6 episodes or so as it…
I dropped SOM for the same reason as you, I felt there wasn't much going on with the story no offense to those who love it. This drama is more engaging and the chemistry between the leads starts strong even with no intimate scenes yet but let's see if the rest of the episodes remain good.
I’ve always enjoyed LYX in costume dramas, but this drama really made me realize how good she is in modern roles too. I’m glad she’s been taking more modern projects lately—she’s clearly talented and always has such natural chemistry with her male co-stars. Her chemistry with CXX is already coming through strong even without any intimate scenes yet, which is impressive. I loved her pairing with HMH before, and honestly, her chemistry with CXX might be just as good or maybe even better at this point. We’ll see how it goes.
The writer really ruined the plot, and the ending was unbearably bad. Hou Minghao and Tan Songyun honestly carried the show with their performances, even though their chemistry wasn’t strong enough for me. At best, I’d give this a 7.5.
