True, As a novel reader, I'm not the biggest fan of fang chi. Zhen xin all the way, that man is a true yearner.
If i remember correctly, He's gonna leave gao zhun after realizing he loves him, for a long time. During that time, gao zhun ends up being targeted by his r*pist and justin again. He becomes self destructive. It was very heartbreaking to read.

Alot of people seem to hate xiaofan rn and i 100% blame whoever cut off all the scenes from the beginning of the novel because it set the foundation of the entire novel and most importantly why mc is the way he is. He's very unwanted in the family, belittled by everyone including his younger sister, they don't let him speak his mind, by marrying that girl, he's useful for the first time in his life but even then he's not respected. The only person who didn't look down on him was ml and that is why he's so attached to him. Not only that but mc's family keeps asking for favours from ml's family so mc feels ashamed and serving ml is his way of repaying him and that is also why he let's the physical relationship between them go on. He's stuck in his situation and since he comes from a remote village and a family who suppresses his voice, he can't seem to defend himself. You see, he carries the burden of his entire family alone, they ask for stuff, ml gives it to them and in return, mc feels guilty and hence remains submissive. Hope you understand a little bit now. I wish they added all these scenes in the show as well.
