I’m almost done season 1 and can’t understand how anyone can be team Tushan Jing.. she doesn’t love him she only feels safe with him, she said it herself when Cang Xuan asked if she was sure about marrying him. While that’s it’s important, love isn’t something that can be forced like she is doing with Jing. That’s also why she didn’t feel very sad about him constantly leaving her, she knows herself that her heart isn’t with him. Tushan Jing should just be a devoted second male lead. Whether or not you like Xiang Liu, you have to admit he is her soulmate.

I love Jinmai, she definitely is fit for modern dramas and not historical ones.

Love triangles, even ones without reciprocity, are important to dramas like this. It shows that the leads didn’t just fall in love with the first person who showed romantic interest in them and the leads would choose each other in every lifetime. Especially for Qingyu who is sheltered and Bai Ju Si is her first love.🤍 but that’s just my opinion.

I never knew people hate love triangles so much until this app. I think as long as it’s done well it’s fine. Let’s see how the love triangle will play out first.
