Can someone tell me why demons are so rampant in Chinese Xianxias? What’s the lore. It’s upsetting as a Christian who doesn’t want to watch this kind of stuff but loves Historicals and Xianxias.

8.0 is not low, I actually appreciate this rating because it’s realistic instead of people giving it high ratings that don’t make sense. This drama is slightly above average and worth watching to pass time.
