The sheer intensity of like - literally every element combined in this show from the acting to the OST and cinematography etc. - speaks for how much this show is #INTENSE. Ghurl I had to pause...(yes take a pause) and inaudibly express my deep-seated emotions whenever I find myself wanting to punch Tae Oh.

If you can make me react that much, and being so because of overwhelming emotions, then be pretty sure it's because the show's that good. (Unless of course it's a really bad series that is able to bring out my emotions with the same intensity, but from a different source).

I'm like in tears of relief right now T_T. I thought something was wrong with me not liking this series, and so when I saw your comment I felt so validated that what I was feeling was actually being felt by other people. Like it was really a pressure for me to like the series because of the High AF ratings coupled with the High AF reviews(!). On a side note, I totally agree that K-Drama fans should give it a try, but just like what you said "...it wasn't my cup of tea".

I don't know man if it's just me. I don't usually appreciate endings that leave me hanging, but this drama just seemed right to have ended the way it did. Somehow, the unspoken parts of the story, the yearning bits that to some may be annoying, seemed to make the whole drama more beautiful. Say for example Lee Joon's incident at the museum with the lady. It wasn't confirmed that he will indeed return as a doctor, but it's enough for me to have seen that his reason now for being a doctor is not to compete with Lee Kang anymore. The same way Cha Young and Lee Kang found each other, with no apparent resolution. In fact, it made me think, must there always be a resolution to every story? And I'll end with that....

P.S. I thoroughly enjoyed the mukbang scenes of the cast and staff members at the end. Made my heart less sad.

Damn these tear ducts activating man...I just hope that the pool of tears I've shed will be enough for the leads to have an ending they deserve.

Came here to watch Ahn Hyo Seop in a different light after *abyss*. And boooii I am not dissapointed.

And for the the very first two episodes, I can say that I adored the little touches of care amongst the leads.

I don't know if I should feel comforted or saddened by your words, so I'll take in both.

And there you have it...my fondness with melodrama is rekindled by this luscious treat of a show. (I just love it T_T)

That would make sense...but the thing that's throwing me off though was the strange guy (he seemed like Nam Ju's Mom's personnel tbh but idk) who was secretly taking pictures of Nam Ju and Ju Da "flirting" by the fields. It was like something orchestrated to ruin Nam Ju or something. Although we don't know yet why his mother would indeed scheme something like this....

Never knew I had the ability to on-and-off have goosebumps for literally an episode straight!!! Talk about intense.

Wait...did I get right?! Is Ju Da partly in relationship with Nam Ju because Nam Ju's Mom ordered her in exchange for her scholarship and her grandma's hospital fees?

I never knew I could take in this caliber of thriller, psychological, and horror content all in one exquisite blend. I love how it taps onto human behavior. I recently learned from our zoology class that what separates us human beings from lower classes of animals, is how we are able to steer away from beastly responses and tendencies. To actually think about the things we're doing, and act not purely (at least most of the time) based on desires.

And here I am questioning that fact as I remember Moon Jo's conversation with Jong Woo a few episodes ago while on the rooftops, wherein he said something like letting your desires and instinct get ahead of you is more human-like.

And I'm just like "Damn...this show's so triggering that even a lesson at school is being triggered" Whhhoooeww

I felt a deep pang in mah poor hart when I saw Jong Woo's near-sobbing face when he came out from the police station as he was talking to Jung Hwa. He had a taste of losing his sanity and venting out what he previously would've just kept in his mind - and I'm just...I feel extremely bad for him . That expression - his face - screamed a thousand things, but his mouth couldn't.

And his new friend and neighbor - let us wish for the slimmest chance that he'll be alright 'cause my heart cannot UwU Like, "Why did you go there ?! pabo!" T_T

Can we talk about how each character is given depth and color in this drama!? Like gahhhhd I'm a sucker for deeper meanings through sublime acting --- but this here people, is like: DAMNN T_T Exquisite!
