This was my favorite k-drama in a long while. i LOVED Shin Soon Rook and Yumi's relationship. I did feel a bit rushed and would have liked more story of their relationship...i think 10-12 episodes for this story would have been perfect. most of it did not feel rushed but i would have liked more time for their relationship to show their depth. I didn't think i would like anyone more than season 1 guy but I did love Shin Soon Rook.
Nobody is talking about the second couple, and their story almost moves me more than the main one.
I agree. That second couple is really interesting. It's the first time in a long time that the second couple isn't just taking up time and space in a drama for me.
Does this have romance? If yes, how much it affects the plot and motivations of protagonist? How is the writing…
I love romances, and almost always crave them, but this was one where the romance was light but the story was so captivating that I didn't really miss it at all. It was there but everything else was the main course.
I wouldn't feel bad that Zang Hai kill him first. He is one of the three biggest villains in this drama. Marquis…
I totally agree with you. He was so well-written and well-acted that you felt that he was a multi-dimensional person. One of the better villains I've watched in a long time.
Just finished this. It's the first drama I've watched in a long time where the romance wasn't the central plot but I didn't miss it at all because the storyline was so good. Xiao Zhan was amazing in this. I'm so curious if they will do a sequel.
Yes, TTJ 🤩🤩 for me! Better late than never😍.. Lots of Moonies here still hang around and chat about it.…
Oh yay! I'm actually going to watch it again for the second time starting right now. hahaha. for some reason, i want to see what spots i've missed, so hiiiiii!
A lot of the people have stuck around here, because of the reasons you have mentioned and we're all very chatty,…
These guys who seem bad, but really have a better head on their shoulders than all the "good guys" but no one understands...hahahah. it's my soft spot.
I just finished watching this for the first time...and it sort of sticks with you, doesn't it. I honestly think TTJ is one of the most interestingly written male lead characters I've watched in a long time. The only other drama that has a male lead that stuck with me like this was Lost You Forever's Tan JianCi. Only his, was nowhere near as satisfying to watch. There was such a redemptive, triumphant arc in this for me. It didn't feel trajic to me...It was such a good drama... wish I could have watched it when everyone else was so we could have chatted about it.
I'm incredulous of people's reactions to 2ML. The supposedly well educated public figure wrote super nasty hate…
But now we find out that the stuff that really was nasty was not written by him, but the other guy. The stuff written by him was that King Seojong stuff, which was actually hilarious.
so many fun cross references!
