Such a great comment. Exactly. Not that the big actors don't deserve it (here's looking at you Kim So Hyun and Kim Ji Won), but when people don't expect it and it draws you in...you KNOW it's good based on it's own merits. This drama honestly has it all for me...comedy, emotion, great dialogue, great plot, constantly keeping you on your toes, beautiful eye candy, joy, sadness, anticipation...everything I look for in a good K-drama.

Yup, some actors didn't want to play it because they didn't see the depth of the character they thought it was…
I cannot imagine anyone else playing this character. He brings so much depth. There aren't that many actors that you can rewind and watch a scene and even the smallest emotion is reflected in his eyes. And so you can watch the episode so many times. Between him and KHY, there are so many beautiful details in their acting. So many moving moments. He and KHY are amazing together. The nail their funny moments, their serious ones, and their heart wrenching. And honestly, we haven't had a rom-com that is good is such a long time. I haven't been this in love with a drama like this in I don't know when. I just wish I found it AFTER it had aired...the waiting is torture.

PHS is so fun in this. It's been a while since I've seen him in a role like this. It's such a happy watching experience watching him smile and be silly. I love watching PHS and PSH together it's like watching old friends I have such affection for in something that just delights my heart. There's something so warm about watching them. It's not a stressful drama and so far, is the drama I look most forward to each week.
