i’m just gonna say if this was any other drama i would be swooning throughout the 8th episode coz the leads finally got together but.... i just felt uncomfortable throughout it
the story is just not sitting right with me

hmm it’s not a real thing ig, it’s something made up for this story in particular. it’s like a mono is a person who is only able to see monochromatic colors and apparently every mono has their own probe. when monos look at their probes they experience color rush and are able to see all colors, not just monochromatic ones. it’s kinda romantic, the whole ‘the world is colorful when i’m looking at you’ thing. hope you understood <3

just finished watching this drama on netflix. honestly, i enjoyed this series. i agree with the fact that they pulled it too much, 41 episodes for the plot was too long. but being from a strict asian family, i could kind of understand why she felt the need to keep her relationship a secret and why her parents reacted the way they did. but i’m glad that everything turned out well and personally i didn’t find the age gap awkward at all. i also didn’t find luming’s character “irritating” to be exact. i think his character was required for fanxing to realize that she had fallen in love with yuan song. and i reallly really enjoyed watching the second leads. he canyang and cai minmin’s relationship was so cute and fun to watch. so was cong xiao and chang huan’s.
i personally recommend this series. it was something fresh compared to recent c dramas. if you skip a few scenes, you won’t get bored of the show tbh. i’d give this series an 8 out of 10.
p.s. this is my own opinion, if you don’t feel the same way i totally get it but you can give the drama a chance and drop it if you don’t like it :)
