Sorry this is a bit late. But in recent days, I loved the ashes to crown costuming and set design. I think it's set in the early qin dynasty. For older dramas there's The King's Woman, with Dilireba, and Legend of Haolan with Wu JinYan. There's also Secret of Three kingdoms (2018). Kinda sad they don't make too many drama set in early dynasties these days but that seems to be changing so yay for us!

I just came to say I'm loving the older dynasties representation in the recent dramas. The costumes are sooo beautiful, so is the cast!

Bro this is GOOOD. The costumes are so well done. But the story is so satisfying too. I think zhou yiran looks his best yet in this drama (other than wifty). Chen duling's expressions are on point! I love the trope with a powerful fl with a subordinate (but strong) ml. The first episode I thought she was too dumb but she was just a teenager there. Oh the little emperor is cute too

The outfits look like they are inspired from the Han and Qin dynasties. I'm so excited for this!

I'm confused. Are there more episodes. The ending is good but is that all? I was hoping to see them meet family and friends and some kind of exposure into their future.

I really liked the vibe of the teaser they released. It seems very similar to First frost. A bit melancholic but so so pretty. Both FL and ML are beautiful and look good together!

I don't like the Chen family other than the sister/neice and the second brother. The Chen madam is a villain if we see from Fl's perspective, but ofc ML will say she isn't bad cuz it's his mom. And sister-in-law is crazy jealous. I like that ML tries his best to save FL whenever he can. But I still feel like FL was more free when she chose to never marry. This seems like a loss for her.

I'm curious the drama hasn't even released yet. How can you tell? And don't say reuters cuz they prove nothing lol

I don't agree. Just saw episode 26, and it's so clear YX likes her enough to fight for her disregarding everything while CYY is all schemes. I don't think CYY is sincere to FL

I didn't have much of an opinion on the Loves till now. But the way ML told him "you're going against me over a woman?" rubbed me the wrong way. YX loves her enough to fight till death over her yet ML cares more about schemes. He even told his assistant to spread this rumor. I have lost my interest in ML, total wrong choice. I'll keep watching for YX and FL tho.
