Exit 8 prettyyy good!!!

I personally really enjoyed the Exit 8 movie, i've seen it get a lot of negative reviews so I wanted to put mine out there.

CHARACTERS:

The Lost Man (main character) didn't react as much as i thought he should have for being trapped in a lopping hallway. The backstory of him and his wife was okay, it seemed like a normal backstory.

The Walking Man. I think he represents foolish people in the way he ignores important things, very rushed, can't hear the kids' opinions, believing he's right every time but also shows the insanity to believe things so easily , desperate to leave , maybe like a normal person who had entered the looping rooms.

The Boy- The boy was kinda like a wakeup call to the lost man. He was losing hope and on the verge of giving up but then the boy appeared. The lost man thinks about his future with his wife and envisions The Boy as their kid, giving him more reason to get out. While when the walking man had the boy by his side, he saw it as more a responsibility rather than something to actually care about. The boy in some ways is like a guide, a child could notice more things than an adult because yes they both want to go home but the boy is more careful and observant.


Overall

I liked how the scary monsters were things that the lost man saw before, the looping train hall is kind of like a memory/nightmare. It takes things that you've seen or experienced and turns them into something against you. Shows you face to face your fears. It had you looking yourself for the anomalies, I was nervous trying to look around to see if he missed anything too lol.><. I loved how the first 10 minutes were in first person. I just thought it was cool. There wasn't really character development (maybe a hint when the lost man is thinking about family but not really a big thing). But I loved the film. Scary for me, lowkey dont see the hate.

Love Punch.. What was going on..?

I heard a new BL movie was coming out so I HAD to watch it.

First the pacing was really bad. Not even ten minutes into the movie the two main characters already are all buddy buddy? Um hello, am i missing something here because from what i know you guys have never interacted in your lives and all of a sudden you LIVE together already??? (all happen in under 15 minutes btw!!!!)

Second, who was the second guy trying to get with the blonde hair guy. He was the friend of Madoka from school but him having feelings didn't add to the plot at all?? It was just thrown in there for no reason AT ALL. Maybe it was in the book but if it literally has nothing to do with the plot I lowkey dont care because they didn't even end up talking about it after one scene.

The Main Couple

Modaka Kamei (Blonde) and Mitsuru Sato (Black Haired)

Like I said, the beginning was very fast, but it slows down and speeds up at different times. It's revealed that Mitsuru had actually fallen in love with Modaka 2 years before they actually met after his brother had attacked Modaka's brother. It was a surprising connection but I think it half worked. If you're gonna fall in love with someone for two years and have been waiting, shouldn't you show it a litttllleee more emotion.? (maybe a me thing) But they had good heart-trobbing scenes. I didn't like how they kept apologizing for literally breathing air atp, it was a part of the show, yes but they know how to make it really irritating.

In conclusion the movie was very too fast for me and i went in thinking it was enemies to lovers but it was okay, romantic scenes were good but felt pushed onto the characters, chemistry was kinda there? The fighting scenes were pretty cool too!

Not super bad but not super good-- 6/10 overall.

Rude Guy

My problem is more about the story, I think the casting for the roles are good, Fumi Nikaido who played the Wolf Girl really suited her. Kento Yamazaki is a great actor but it was insteresting how he played this role, it was good but I wasn't expecting the role to be so rude. That brings me to my main problem. The Black Prince is so goddamn rude! I know the story was that but it just makes me so mad how she stays with her even tho he's a jerk. ALSO you can see the wolf girl really having a hard time with her feelings, trying to figure out if what she feels is real. But the black Prince literally shows use NOTHING??? He says one line about his feelings and called it a day, The movie felt a little rush. For example, the wolf girl suddenly decides that she likes him. Yeah there are some part where I see the closeness but the producers just kinda push her into liking him. I cried watching this not because of the love but because I felt so bad for the girl having to deal with a awful guy like him. I think they would have been better separated
