it'll be a lovely, realistic ending. but this would only happen in western dramas lol it'll probably never happen in asian dramas. just look at Moon Lovers and the chaos it brings over that kind of ending.
i'm putting off watching this for five years because of a 30s scene of a tornado in korea lol i can't believe i just need to ignore that scene and I'll meet one of the kdramas with the most interesting narrative--
i've been putting off watching CLOY because of the tornado scene lol I thought it was ridiculous and impossible. then a tornado happened in my country for the first time ever and I realized maybe that plot point in CLOY is not that ridiculous

i understand why so many people feel disappointed with the ending, though. after all those efforts, nothing actually changed :| but that's why I love this drama so much! wishing there's more on how she coped with reality--
so many cdramas adaptations are toned down from the original novels in terms of character's morals. this is based on my observation, though, i'm not chinese so i'm unfamiliar with the fine print of rules
