Yea I read that theory too and same confusion (I think no one will be able to prove either side). Adding on to what @liya said, in Ep 42 Jin GuangYao specifically said that the self sacrificing ritual is to "save someone who is severely injured" and did not explicitly say "bring back from the dead" which makes me think Wei WuXian didn't actually die. But of course another theory is this is just a bug in the drama

The Untamed really had a wonderful ensemble of female characters each with such different personalities and roles. Such a thing is rare but treasured <3

^^ they answered already but I recommend not skipping on this one...princess wei young and the eternal love were very different types of stories and you seemed to like both despite that so there's a chance that you'll like this one too because it's different from both of them :D

They might be a little slow sometimes...but I recommend watching it on Youku where you can actually see the full episodes. There aren't subtitles on the Youtube versions anyway so you might as well watch the uncut version on Youku :D
