I have had a terrible time with dramas lately, I just watched a couple of episodes and just put them on hold. Whether it's c-drama, K-drama, Thai BLs all the same, I lost interest after a few episodes. This one I'm happy to say, I managed to follow from start to finish. I wouldn't say this is an exceptional series. Far from it, it had subpar production quality, a campy 90's vibe, and some elements of the the plot were dubious and illogical. What it had though is engagement and loads of interests that keep me glued watching it despite it numerous flaws. Would it have work if it was a higher budget production? I'm doubtful.

We are already in the AI era. Why in the world are they not using it to dub all this conversations in foreign languages because clearly these actors do not even know what the hell they are saying or what fluent and proper French or any other language sounds like.

They just had to insert this lame love story here for fan girls sake. A really pointless story line like the one in the Blood of Youth with the ML and that spear girl. The good news is it's not dragging the story down and I'm not getting piss off like Blood of Youth.

The FL is extremely uninteresting, she has no depth or nuance. I was amused by her more forward approach to romance but now that ML wanted space and time to assess their relationship she's become an attention seeker and someone who is just thirsty for a love life.

I'm sorry did the writers forgot they actually made ZZX some sort of martial artist prodigy complete with two masters but then at the camp he's become a damsel in distress and can't even fight properly.

This would have been a great bromance if the FL wasn't here.

The first episode is so absurd with the kids. Really weak writing there. We have a wild pre teen girl that is apparently so good at whipping that she strucked the young ML and then dodged a stone that strucked a chariot that caused an accident that lead to a kidnapping by a bunch of toddlers. So absurd but then this drama is a mystery drama so that scene might be par for the course.

That bitch Grand Princess should have been drawn and quartered or alive but had her face disfigured and limbs amputated. Her daughter's end though was extremely satisfying.

You have a very low knowledge of finance if you think this scenario is even believable in real life. Did you happen to forget he is a high level manager and earns a hefty salary. He is not some rich high school kid that got their credit card cut.

The riches to rags story of the ML is hardly believable unless he blew all of his salary and investments to coke and ladies at the bar. Losing access to a credit card is not synonymous with being poor.
