SOOOOOO GOOOOD :)

I spent the first half of the series suspecting everyone....lol even when they made it pretty clear.
This is an interesting series that shows its hand way before the last act, and you get into the interesting part of what do you do when you know who the killer is.
The drama didn't hold back on the suspense, thrilling scenes, and the looks that definitely gave me the heebie jeebies. However as afraid of horror movies, and the drawn out thriller grabs I loved every minute of this drama.
I love that while it did have romance, that wasn't what drove the vehicle of this drama. It was all about the action, and finding the clues to put everything together.
What good was it if you know who it is, if you don't know how it ended up this way. The characters all play their parts well, especially the villains of each case that come the teams way. The acting was spectacular, and more than once will you be horrified, shocked, and just a little bit teary.
The main characters are a decent match, and while I think Seo in Guk's character was a little too stiff, there are a lot of things to justify that. Jang Nara is a strong female lead, and a complete 360 from her baby faced beauty character, which made me sight in loud and obvious relief.
The story progresses steadily, and there are almost no loose ends, however I have to say the questions you are left with are ones that obviously the director and producers never plan on answering.

If you want the genius, teamwork, crime, suspense, and thrill this is the series to watch. I would say romance, but since it's more back burner I lean to the main themes.

This is a must watch....during the day :)

Decent drama, Decent actors, Decent watch...

This drama is as I put....decent. The fact is most of the time, it is only represented as a transformation movie while once the drama starts it takes a darker turn. The two main characters compliment each other, and you find yourself wishing them to have happiness.
You find yourself constantly saddened by things that happen, and find yourself asking, " Is beauty really that important?"
It has the same lip quivering I want to kiss you scenes as other k-dramas, and some truly funny hijinx.

All is not what it seems, and as the story goes on you see the parallel lines for what they are.
The supporting cast is good, and sometimes seriously hateful. You see the two main fall in love, but it's sort of stilted between scenes. In the end everybody gets an ending, and it isn't that bad as everything goes.

This drama is worth a watch, because it can get really exciting. You just have to get past the first couple of episodes to when it really gets started. You'll wonder what is wrong with people when you watch this one, but in time will watch the normal climax of a normal transformation k-drama.

I love this drama :) It had great characters, and interesting albeit 'the norm' ways to keep the storyline going. It uses the drama cliches to its advantage, all while portraying a semi realistic relationship of two people with a large age gap.
The chemistry is beautiful...I really love that about this drama. Sometimes although the actors are believable in most of a drama, the romance falls a little flat. However, that's not the case for either of the main characters. Issues and misunderstanding happen regularly, but they are resolved in a nice manner that doesn't drive you insane.
My favorite thing is there is no insane dunh dunh dunnnh moment, but there are definite oh no's and please don't...lol.

If you like a sweet strong coffee like rom com this is it, and it doesn't disappoint. The main characters are fun to watch, along with the colorful supporting cast that makes sure there is always something going on.
Overall this is a must watch, and i definitely will be watching it again.

This was a fantastic drama!! I am pretty into dramas, and while I can find enjoyment in almost everything I watch...I truly loved this drama. It had everything in aces and spades.
One thing that really put this drama over the top is the pacing of the stories. It's really hard for a k-drama to pace itself sometimes, but this one flowed along right on schedule. Also it's hard to follow a main characters story, but not only did it follow them to fulfillment but the rest of the cast also. On top of that it had a secondary main couple, and it didn't skimp on that story line or push it too fast in order to not compromise the main.
A lot of doctors did scoff at the likelihood of some of the medical happenings, but I stand by what I watched. Though improbable, there are always times when the impossible must be attempted so I can see how it might have a millionth of a chance of happening.
The music was sublime, and the plot points were entertaining and thrilling. There wasn't a moment of this drama that I fast forwarded through. ( I sometimes do that). My biggest thing with K-dramas as opposed to american shows is that I tend to re-watch my american stuff, but I am happy just watching a Korean drama once and calling it good. However, this particular drama rates so high with me that I want to buy it and re-watch it at times. I have only had 3 other dramas out of the literal hundreds that I've watched that I can say are on that list.
The biggest thing that totally had me flying was the relationship between the main characters. And I cannot stress it enough....the KISSING :) I am a big person about the kiss in K-dramas or any show in particular. There were no awkward closed lip push, or one doing a deep french with the tight lipped closed mouth.
The silent communications for all the couples mirror real life. All the things you want to say but cant, and all the things that you are sorry for but can't apologize correctly. You feel it all, and it is breathtaking. I highly recommend watching this drama, and nobody will be dissatisfied.....It really is worth the watch.

This drama definitely rates my rewatch list. The characters were well made, especially so ji sub's character. The storyline was the norm, but sweet with a funny all around tone. The villains of this piece didn't go overboard, and I liked the conclusions. Truthfully this does have the earmarkings of a transformation drama, but it isn't quite there. I like how the writers and directors obviously tried to tackle the ,'Its not all about beauty' thing, but it doesn't quite get pulled off.
The thing that really draws me to this drama is the band of characters, and the interaction between lawyer kang and her soon adopted gang of guy friends. They are sweet, sexy, and manly with a major case of comedy timing on the side and just as emotional.
The real treat though was the relationship between lawyer kang and kim youngho :) It's rare to see a real version relationship in kdramas with all the dramatic entrances, accidents, and disapproving parents, but this drama had it in spades. Touching, kissing, talking (dear god).... you get it here. The fact that the characters talked, and didn't just fall in love was what got me. And a female character that really knows her man always wins for me. All in all I really liked this drama, and the ost song.. I gotta admit I got caught dancing so many times it wasn't funny :)

This is a frivilous, fun, and laugh out loud drama. You hands and toes will curl, but you won't be able to look away. In the end you'll find yourself wanting your own so ji sub.

Ok....this is the first taiwanese drama I ever watched, and I was completely knocked over by how good it was. The relationships!....oh the relationships!! And I am not talking about the main romance characters as romantic partners, but as friends. This managed to have bromance, without actual bromance and that was a first for me.
Even though you are rooting for the romance, I truly kind of wanted them to maintain that sense of friendship that they started out with.
Also it is really hard for a drama to keep a stalwart main character, but it was great to see a character that no matter what their feelings never wavered. This drama didn't give into the major cliche of that ....well if you watch you will know exactly what I am talking about...needless to say I had to recap forward because I was worrying hardcore.

Even though I plan to rewatch this...I cannot say this drama was perfect. I fast forwarded through quite a lot, and while I did like Bii as an actor, and I get that he was supposed to be the silent and steady type his acting was really stilted...or just too silent. I would have liked to see more life in his character.
The one thing I did like is that there wasn't a real decline in the drama. It started out with fighting and that physical aspect, and kept it going through until the end. A lot of the time the things that brought characters together, or define them in someway if not convenient to the plot disappears, but not in this drama. True it did decline a little, but it stayed true to what you were first shown.

Megan Lai and the rest of the cast really did keep me around, but the person that had me riveted was Baron :) His acting, intensity, and just the way his character is had it so that you couldn't turn away.
The only thing I hated, and it has to be adressed is.....KISSING!!! Oh god this killed me! the relationship was amazing, the characters just heaven. But when they kiss I wanted to throw something. It's like all the chemistry gets dumped, and they can't kiss to save their lives. Didn't anyone tell them that you cannot passionately close mouth kiss it looks weird!!! And even weirder is when one opens their mouth to the closemouthed kiss. The crazy part is there are 2 good kisses and one good kiss scene n this entire series between the main, and they are in like the last 2 episodes.

This drama is worth the watch, but the kissing might make you cringe. However, never fear!!! Its worth enduring to watch this awesome drama.

Okay....so aside from the hokey title this drama was a solid 9. The plot was pretty good, but the cast is where its at. These actors are really really good. They take on their parts, and play them to the end
Even characters that are around for a little while are so good. The effects can be a bit lacking, fake blood is obvious, and its hilarious how many scenes forget to put back the fx but its not super bad. Basically this is about SID, and their ragtag team of protectors. They protect the city from supposed bad guys who come from underground. It's all about perspective, and the shades of grey in life. The end is a little too GM for me, but other than that its good. When I first started this I couldn't tell which way the director was going, but it didn't dissappoint. Either way if you can look past the fx its worth a watch or two.

Soooo it seems we all agree that this is not the typical quality we expect, or normally get from an actor like Ji Chang Wook. The actors had a cute chemistry, but I couldn’t quite make myself believe it was ‘fated’ as the drama wants us to believe.

Plot: Lets be real this show had a couple of plots, and did a real good job of running them into the ground, or dragging on scenes for eternity. There were plot holes you could bury bodies in, and little explanation where it would have done us good to have some. I needed motives, motivation, and the will not to skip, but even then managed to persevere. That being said there were many scenes I found satisfying and heartwarming.

Cast/ Relationships: To me this was the saving grace of the drama. The main and supporting cast were so good. I did take issue with Hayoung’s character, but other than that I loved it. The families were sweet and endearing, without wandering into contrived. I felt the care and love, and it never once felt stilted. It made me think of how much I loved the cast of ‘Oh My Venus’. They aren’t quite on that level of chemistry, but the cast and relationships were the reason I stuck around.

Music: I only liked one song which was by K.Will, and all the other ones weren’t that remarkable. In fact for once I found myself annoyed by the music.

Overall this drama is re-watchable, but I think it would be only when I want to cry or miss my mom. As I said the cast is the shining point, but there were definitely parts where you could tell they were going for comedy, but I was just annoyed or frustrated. Hands down the one time I got annoyed was with the drag at the end episodes... I was literally waiting for what happens next. I listed over 15 different ways it could go over a half hour period while muttering..” oh... here we go.” Only to have to wait more for the pivotal moment.

Either way hate it or love it.. the show has good parts. It’s a decent middle of the road kdrama, but it doesn’t stop me from liking it.
