Just finished watching episode 1. And coming from someone who had read the manga (didn't expect anything but enjoyed it way too much), I liked the episode. The style/theme and direction matches well with what I envisioned it - though I could imagine that this might not be for everyone. And please do give it a chance till 2-3 episodes (or actually even towards the end) - as it really becomes interesting ... at least in the manga.
The drama started off really strong - but even though it became a little bit draggy (and the ending was okay), I still felt strongly about this. Mainly cause they didn't really shy away from the original premise and push through with it (it's a pitfall sometimes to make it a lot more draggy than tolerable). Leads were amazing but my favorite is watermelon uncle.
It seems like WOWOW dramas are the ones that excites me the most. And for everyone, please give Aono-kun ni Sawaritai…
If the adaptation is done right, this will be some scary thriller drama that I'm looking forward to. I had regrets reading this at the wee hours of night.

I liked this - production level and cast chemistry was top notch. To be honest, I had a different underlying theme/plot/story in mind when I saw the teasers/trailers/materials - what manifested in the drama was not that. However, I was still satisfied with it (even though, deep inside I was disappointed). Still very enjoyable - and glad to have know Matsushita Kouhei here.
I wouldn't say I wasn't entertained by this show - but this feels like a poorly made fan fiction than a proper drama. I feel like the cast were wasted in here. Suzu, Sho and the rest (including Kanna) are all great though.
Oldie but goodie - each of the characters seem to acted effectively that I can't seem to stop watching (and can't help but feel stuff). Japan seems to do really good classroom drama - and while this shows its age, it is still a great show overall. Thanks Netflix for having more JDrama than before!
For those who are interested, this is currently showing in NHK Japan, which you can stream for free in their website . This is one of my sleeper favorites from last year - definitely recommended.
I don't really know what to take away from this drama? It's the best that I've seen Hamabe Minami act and Okada Masaki complements her well - but the ending feels so abrupt that this seems to be a show you wouldn't lose anything not watching?
Done with Season 1 - personally, I preferred AnaBan more than this. I feel the story and direction was uneven (goes very interesting, then slows down, then goes nowhere, then becomes interesting again) - but probably it is also a function of AnaBan being fresh (I also just recently finished) so there was a certain expectation. Also, I feel like the first 5-7 episodes didn't really have that much at stake in comparison (disappearing vs death isn't the same). The series also resorted on making the last few episodes go twisty-turvy again.
That said, I still enjoyed it though - there were a lot of mopey scenes and weirdly executed misdirection. Obviously they'll tie the lose ends in Season 2, but can only really tell once its there. My MVP is Yoshine Kyoko and Sakurai Yuki (both the actresses and their characters) as am a sucker for unrequited love. Still looking forward to Season 2.
This drama reminded me of the best things that life has to offer. I will really cherish how beautiful this was. (And slightly bias because I love all three leads).
This show is my "comeback" to Jdrama after skipping for several years. I wanted to watch an ongoing one to have the excitement of waiting week by week (sometimes binging can be tiring too). Seems that I have made the right choice as this is really good so far! Can't wait for the next episodes.
