i have the same issues with the chemistry and writing as much as everyone here (except ofc for one LO cult member who i will not name) but damn they can cry! Ch3 workshops are all probably on crying and then they just wing everything else 🤷‍♀️

i haven't read the book but that's typical GMMTV. they basically buy rights to a novel just so they could use the title and character names. they took my weekly feel-good nonchalant romcom and turned it into a ball of stress 😭

not liking how the story is going since that guy showed up but i just hope Wine finds her own voice and stand up for herself against him instead of just being this damsel that needs saving. Lal will do anything and everything for her but at the end of the day, it's her that's going to have to decide on her healing. and she's really starting to piss me off so i'm seriously counting on her toughening up a bit.

also, i was banking on them to start dating atleast in ep 7 or 8 but ofc not! they will probably be official right before the credits roll in ep 10 🫩

they did! it was really good. i had no expectations but this series just blew a lot of GLs out of the water. i was just a bit disappointed that it followed somewhat of a cliche ending with Peem dying but still, for a first both for Me Mind Y and MieAya, chef's kiss!

yeah, with the lack of any kind of resolution regarding the time travel plus the title of the series, it was all probably just a dream. and Rann also dreamt of a funeral right before Peem died so it looks like Rann does have those kinds of dreams where she can kind of see what could/would happen in the future.

finally someone thought of another reason for a parent/grandparent opposing a relationship other than them being two women. not that "social status" is better but atleast it's new.

not liking the FWB idea in the next ep though. feels like a cheap way to justify putting as much NC scenes of them as possible when it's simply not feasible. Piang is obsessed with Song and has been pursuing her romantically for forever now so in what world would that work?

if Peem dies i volunteer as tribute to go back in time and save him 🤚

i was also leaning on that theory but with ep 6 going that way (they absolutely gave us nothing about the time travel or whatnot), i think we'll probably stay in the current timeline. imagine getting 6-7 episodes of just a dream. i'll only accept that if they do another season in the original timeline but that's too much of a stretch. we'll see next week

welp, i was seriously hoping for something out of the ordinary but it looks like it's going to be another cliche ending aka Lene saves Rann but Peem will probably die in the end (with all the Peem moments in this episode, it's very likely). only part of the story i'm waiting for is how they're going to justify the time travel, or if they're just going to play it as 'big brother dies in place of the sister' kinda bullsht. guess i better start praying the writers saved all their plot twists in the last ep XD

anywaaays, still a great first series for MieAya. haven't seen a GL couple with that much chemistry + those kissing chops in a while!

god i must've seen that 'girl falling, other girl tries to save, both fall then somehow after all the commotion a kiss happens to land perfectly' scene more than 10x now. love 4E but why do i feel like the romantic scenes since Earth were super cheesy and cringy at times

i enjoyed the first 5 episodes but ep 6 pissed me off mainly because i feel like it's always Lal. she helps Wine get out of her shell, protect her, do anything to get close to her, support her in any way she can and still has to be the one to admit her feelings first and do the courting and waiting? i understand Wine has her reasons but Lal deserves better imo as of ep 6. and don't even get me started on that lunch box. i don't care what Wine says, that was fcked up.

imagine ending ep 7 with Lene saying she time travelled too and we get a part 2 with 7 more episodes and her POV 🤭 (just me wishful thinking)

been reading new theories from the fans after ep 5 aired and now my head hurts. this is probably the only GL series i've seen where i wanted a novel really bad so that i can read and know what happens but lo and behold there's no novel anywhere. MAME is a sadist for sure. can i just sleep and it's already the 17th when i wake up 😭

anyone still hoping for the "Rann died first and Lene came back in time when the very first kiss happened so she had to push Rann away to keep her alive" theory to still happen? only two episodes left and it's 99% unlikely now but that would've answered a lot of questions imo.

P.S. Lene is my girl but Rann should've slapped her atleast twice for that stupid outburst.

i was hoping they would make something out of Bambi having serious mental health issues (narcissistic behavior, self sabotage, PTSD) but of course they didn't. her reason for that breakup was so stupid. imagine someone telling you that you can only have one thing in your life and nothing else. you have a career so you can't have a relationship or a cat or hobbies or another passion because at some point you will have to choose between them. isn't that what normal people do? if Bambi told Prim she wants to break up because she feels bored easily or because she craves happiness but feels the urge to destroy it as soon as its hers then that would've fit the situation and her previous behavior a lot more. and it's also the truth.

i love GLs but i seriously don't get how the writers come up with these ideas and think they make sense.

right? she's also surprisingly good with the actresses in the behind the scenes. aaand that trope never should've seen the light of day. should be banned imo.

Grace could've killed the princess herself with that orange juice but noooo -- she had to have someone else do it and then be paranoid that there's no proof. oh well, we wouldn't have a show if they were smart anyways so keep them idiots coming i guess.

Lene certainly has a life or death reason for everything but mygod she's mean. my heart breaks for Ran everytime they interact with each other :( good thing she's not backing down but i hope they make up soon cause it's only 7 episodes and we have a case to crack!!
