Now, at E47. She left the kid (the one she and ML saved together) with ML, asking him to take care of the kid. Because she had to go back to Yanbei, to Yan Xun. On the way, she was attacked, fall off the cliff ... By miracle, out of nowhere, Xiao Ce found and saved her. Damn! That girl has all the luck in the world. 😅

In PA, her method evolves from survival to liberating the Xiuli Army, later escaped from Wei. Now, her friendship with Li Ce, indirectly has opened an opportunity to set a foothold in Biantang. Meanwhile, ZY is on the way to secure Ximeng.
Whether by sword battle, forming allies or now, politics, her ultimate goal is establishing a new stable era free from oppression where everyone live in a prosperous peaceful nation.
Hence, the title "Rebirth" means "Rebirth of Freedom”.
Sidenote : I’m watching PA for the first time, now at E46. She is escaping to Yanbei where Yan Xun is, still believing that Yan Xun and her, are on the same page. She is in denial of YX's change of attitude, defending him even after she witnessed him breaking promises - left to Xiuli army die (closing the door and burnt the escape bridge) and killing civillians. She knew ML has saved her time and time again, by actions or words, but those meant nothing. I respect ML for being so patient with her harsh words and attitude towards him ... FL is one lucky woman. 😅 (still 12 episodes to go … ).
Some say "Rebirth" is also good to watch but I see rating is low.
Treat is as a stand alone story, and you'll be fine.
Compared to PA, the misunderstanding between the main leads is sooo much less. (I notice only once, when ML didn't want to tell FL why he had to go ...) . After it's cleared, they work together to stop Yan Xun's killing spree.
Ohya, also almost romance. FL and ML care for each other, that's it - I'd say warrior like romance 😅. I guess the production has consodered FL's age. Rebirth is more about the 4 kingdoms.
Anyway, she didn't do it for him, but for Yan.
I think it's a loophole.
Let's just say, the Ring magically appeared. Ji Ling was not wearing it when he died.
