E07 YX asked HH to go back to the soldiers of Snowy Region Tribe at the border, to have a rest. HH returned 2 army tiger tokens (i think they're for Yan Army & Black Eagle Army) to YX. On the way, HH was attacked by Black Eagle Army. They said they were only following orders. HH was shot, an arrow ran through her heart and she fell down. The scene only showed from the back though. Whether she was dead, or survive was not clear. Later, YX killed the medicine lady who resurrected (although it's only an act, as if YX is the chosen King) him. Later, YX hanged someone wearing HH's body armor. It was announced that it was HH, punished for her crimes. So, everyone thought it was HH's body. The body actually belonged to the medicine lady - she had a tatoo at the hand. QC must have heard about that, the reason she said YX executed HH.

I guess the only way for her to get out from the loop is to face her fear - she just had to come clean of who she really is.
I believe WWY would understand and love her anyway. It's not her fault anyway.
As for the theory of JL's death - Jiu Ling took LWY's heart, the part that hides Jiu Ling's remnant. Taking it, means LWY would die, because that is the source of her life.
LWY went to see JL for the last time. JL gave his heart to LWY to save her. JL died.
If i was watching another drama, i would be happy for Li Jie being back. But with the complexity of the plot,…
Butterfly Demons might not have any feelings, but YWH and LJ have them.
I guess, the orginal YWH was so strong, even devoured, still denying to emerge with the Butterfly Demons, enforced the body to be seperated into 2 completely individuals : Bad YWH & Good LJ.
Now, all together, there must be an inner fight - even if Butterfly Demons are strong, with combined 'good' YMH and LJ memories , the GOOD will win - though most probably a Sad ending for LJ/original YMH, it would be a Good ending.
I had my own theory though. Since YWH is back, perhaps it'll be cleared tomorrow. This has been bugging me since the illusion episodes. 😅

It wasn't opened in S1? Or is it locked again because of the cold lake - like the power locked itself , a mechanism to save her life?
