It was the first ep. I'm sure that some character development will happen later on. Also it can be said that he wasn't the right one. She indeed wasn't interested in him, didn't really mourn the break up either.

I have watched a lot. His character seems different, annoyed, but funny, because cannot refuse. I'm saying this based on one ep only though.

I was annoyed a lot. It's stupid how writers try to make these plots believable that despite phones couples cannot or just don't want to for whatever stupid reason to keep contact. As if texting is too much time consuming no matter how busy you are. So not realistic, no matter how many times this gets written into plots.
