Title Mr. Sunshine
This was just too uneven, too stilted, too melodramatic...it's pretty and I did like the characters, but ultimately I basically felt nothing for anyone or anything. Still, I'm glad I watched it but I wish it had been better.

Title Life on Mars
Anyone know how to watch the first episode in the US?
Nowhere legal, so far (as far as I can tell). VIU has it, that's where the subs are from. Download, or watch on a random streaming site, they'll all have it by now.

She lived a long and interesting life, although it was not always easy, I'm sure. I've seen a few of her movies and she definitely had screen presence. I've also got the book about her abduction and time in North Korea, just need to find the time to read it...

Oh, it would be so meta to see the version of this film for the visually impaired...

Also I noticed the young girl who played Jung So Mi is not in the cast list if anyone knows that actress please…
She doesn't exist in the database! Someone can add her, though. Maybe I will later if I remember. Choi Myung Bin is her name. She was also in Tunnel and Black, apparently.

Has anyone seen this with a version of subtitles that doesn't substitute "darn" for every swear word anyone says? Even when it makes no sense? Ha. But seriously it kind of takes me out of the story every time. And it happens a lot.

"It's darn."
"Why the hell are you giving me darn?"
"You are a liar and a crook, darn!"
Lol. It's truly terrible and distracting. Let me know if anyone ever finds better subs or if anyone wants to fix these. I think they're the official DVD release subs, so I don't know why they're so awful.

Actually, one of the reasons why I wanted to watch Dance from Afar was becase i saw your comment in comment section…
There are some older ones that are genuinely difficult to find and that would explain why almost no one has watched them, though. But basically everything from 2013 on is on youtube. Also, viki has a handful of specials, and even dramafever has one of the seasons now, so that might allow more people to stumble upon them :)

Dance from Afar was totally weird and I loved it! Nice job spotlighting some KBS Drama Specials. I agree that they don't get enough attention - there are some real gems out there and there is something for everyone. Although really, most of them probably are on less than 1000 users' lists. I've got 35+ on my watched list and not a single one is over 1000.

Faves of mine: Happy Home, Youth, Yeonu's Summer, Secret, The Whereabouts of Noh Sukja, The Scary One, The Ghost and I...there are actually a lot that really impressed me, especially given the near-zero budget.
