Wow Cheng Lei in epi 31 π He & Bai Lu have been phenomenal! Totally became their characters.
I can't believe how invested I am in their story, it's becoming even more exciting. Fine, there have been some annoying plotholes, like I just couldn't understand how Su Zui Die escaped so easily and how the Cangbei people didn't dare chase her down...but really these just blips in an otherwise gripping and original narrative.
I'm so sad for Ye Li...π MXY is suffering too...I get his reaction though, and she does too, that's why she left π
Does Ye Li know martial arts? Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesnβt?
I wondered about that too, why all of a sudden in prison Ye Li couldn't fight back against Marquis Muyang's henchman, whereas before she was able to channel / take on her teacher's martial arts skills. This is explained though in a later scene when her senior Li Fei Bai blamed himself in front of Gu Zheng for her losing her martial arts after telling her that Master Zhu went back to Lishan mountain. After saying this to her, from that point, whatever remnant of Master Zhu that was "with" Ye Li (like martial arts skills) left her too.
ngl in every scene where Ye Li talks to Qing Shuang, I get goosebumps, like I`m freaking out!
Now on epi 20, the part when Ye Li is channeling Master Zhu fighting the assassins...and I finally get that she has dissociative identity disorder. What trauma did she experience at Lishan? It was closed off for 8 years, could it be everyone there died and she witnessed it? omg
omg epi 10, the little emperor did such a great job! Loved him putting those dumb dissatisfied ministers in their place!!! He's such a good actor for someone so young. Also Really liked in ep 9 the repartee between the left & right ministers XYF & DY. I'm rooting for them to be good guys in the end but this probably won't happen because we need the angst & excitement!
A new gem in the Chinese industry! β¨ There aren't many like him, and for his age, he's truly the only one !…
Yes! π About Lai Weiming, he has huge potential and talent, he can act with his eyes too. Loved WXY in the Double, hoping he'll have more amazing roles like this in the future.
Just finished ep 7 and really loving this so far!!! I really love how everything looks (like at the end of ep 7 in XYF's place with the rich turquoise colors & minimalism, so beautiful), the framing of the scenes, and the acting. ZYR and Dudu especially are amazing in their roles, their chemistry is so good π₯
Ep 1-4, really liking the color palette of the different hues of red paired with the dark grays, blues, and black. π Also love the costume choices, like the textures, color combos, and designs. Interesting that the emperor's court is pretty minimalist, not too many ornaments & heavy decor that I've grown used to seeing in other historical cdramas. The overall vibe feels more theatrical, and I like it! Different from what I've seen before..
Omg this is so tragic but good!!! PXR was amazing as the princess (my 1st time seeing her & I hope she gets more amazing, complex roles like this) and CXX was really good, again! The story is so riveting & touching and I was so sad for the MC & their ending π. But if I were XF, there is no other way πππ One of those stories where it's really about the journey, not the ending. π 10/10
This is so good! No skipping scenes for me, I love the pacing of the story and how the Hua family dynamics evolved. I also liked the main couple, they were very cute together π₯°
Huh 6.1 ?? Lol PA fans are hating nonstop ππ
It does feel like a lot of negativity...probably the reason for this is that maybe PA`s a masterpiece and a much more worthwhile watch. I`m at PA ep 1 so hopefully it`ll live up to the hype!
I rewatched the last ep with good subs and it is a happy ending! ZGY definitely survived, their children gave a recap of events that happened after the final battle to YX & Helian when they visited Ximing, also General Chu defending the border in her old age is indeed QC, and YX & ZGY met at the lake at the end. The literal interpretation wins over the figurative one here!
I will certainly not watch this after reading some of the reviews and spoilers...Princess Agents was one of the…
Interesting comments! Because of Rebirth, I wanted to watch PA & read the novel, so while waiting for new episodes, I started watching PA and the vibe & atmosphere are completely different, also the production is a bit dated so not easy for me to continue. The 1st epi of Rebirth drew me into the story really well, compared to the 1st one of PA...But your take on PA makes it seem interesting, so will continue.
