in the beginning, it was most likely to see if she was spade Q, basically helping his investigation because if you scan the qr code, pretty sure you could see who gave you the money. by doing that, ML could check if her account was spade q. as for the qr codes later on, im unsure but its most likely to get close to her again. as for right now, ep 21/22, its probably for the fun of it/inside joke as someone previously said
