I do think it was a jerk move to say that to Tanrak, but also at the same time I understand why Kongdech felt that way. Kongdech just doesn’t understand how complex the situation is for Tanrak and is only seeing things from his point of view, he can feel hurt that Tanrak who he thought was his closest confidant and best friend would at least tell him what he was going through instead of shutting him out. For me, it’s a pretty grey area on how Kongdech reaction to finding out and his confrontation with Tanrak. 😕

I thought the same and hope that not everything was burned. because why was his hands stained with soot if he was just burning them? unless you touched the burned items
this is the kind of show where I feel reading the book is recommended (grateful that I did) before starting the drama. their story has so many depth, inner turmoils in the novel that I feel can never be made across on screen. I can see how people who aren’t fans of the novel can feel frustrated with the show (especially if you only watch only the cut version on Utube).

so instead of getting peach hurt by Tawan, they changed it to Wiwid hurting him. Kinda liked that they made this change! Also loved that they included more of Rome and Mok’s relationship here 🙂↕️

I actually felt that most of them had good acting as well. The only thing lacking is the whole logic of the plot, but I guess they made it that way with questions un-answered so that they might have a reason to do season 2 (if this season 1 does well).
I’m so pleasantly surprised by Jet and Charn’s relationship portrayal in the series because in the novel they did not sleep together even in this point of time (they were actually supposed to be hiding somewhere near Khem and Pharan, witnessing their sweet moment by accident while getting stuff from the kitchen).
Jet and Charn’s relationship was the 1 thing I had against the novel that I wasn’t so satisfied about, and the series managed to fulfill my wish for improvement.
It just makes so much sense here that they reveal the past lover connection between the 2 of them and that’s how they will fall even more in love moving forward, more than in the novel because in the novel before the big Rhampeung confrontation they were just acting like how friends normally would with a little bit of teasing, then in the middle of the confrontation plot during a life and death situation, it was very abruptly revealed that they were past lovers and started really falling in love with each other then. Only in the special novel chapters do they show more of Jet and Charn’s relationship progression and how they became boyfriends (after Khem’s curse was broken).

I would like to think it was intentionally done by Tle to help with the scene they were doing. It was a smart move as it also could be portrayed as Jet and Charn’s characters having fun as well 😙
