both:
*Historical
*very good bromances
*friends love same woman
*ML and SML at some point become rivals (especially in WBDS) but stay friends and love each other till the end
*you will have second male syndrome in both dramas, in TKIL he is very nice very good and loyal lovable guy, in WBDS he is anti hero super charismatic dark guy, star of the show. Both have sadness in their eyes...
Romance is very good in King in Love, and unpredictable love triangle, but in Warrior it is weak part, but bromance and SML is so good... both must watch dramas!

not so similar, but both have:
*love triangle, unpredictable who will FL choose. For viewer both guys are likable, of course you will ship FL with one (you like) but you will like/love/understand other guy too.
*good historical + romance dramas.
*ML and SML are/become friends,
*quite good side characters and interesting plot (other then romance).
both are really good dramas, not just "one more historical romance", in "Chuno" fight scenes are best I have ever seen, also very unusual charismatic ML, in "King in love" is very good bromance and romance!

not so similar, both are very good and quite unique dramas, hard to recommend something very similar, but both:
*about good friendship and same time love triangle between friends.
*both dramas have rare unpredictable love triangle, when you can't guess who will FL choose. Also, for viewer both guys are likable, even though we always choose one and ship FL with him, in these dramas, you will like/love/understand other guy too.
*period dramas (one historical, Goryeo period, second 80s),
*quite positive feel and nice watch.
*very beautiful cinematography.

In both dramas, one of the main characters tries to gain the trust of the other in order to obtain secret information using a false identity.
Aside from both are female leads are from f(x), the main character of the series has moved to his/her crush's school because of his/her admiration to them. Although it did not have the same atmosphere since one is a police university and the other one is high school, the relationship of both couples are reminiscent woth each other.
Its the second season of good morning call following their college campus life with a bit of male lead jealousy.
It has same story line a high school girl chases a very handsome guy of same school. At first guy ignores her but when girl appears frequently in front of him then he starts to notice her and somehow they end up living in same house and finally fell in love for her.
Both dramas are similar in the pattern of the journey of the self-discovery, the strong female lead, supportive male lead. In the Legend of Fei for me, there is no major tragedy and she was able to prevent the later tragedy by her determination but in The Long Ballad, the female lead faced it at the beginning which made her more stronger.
In both theres a group of runaways, also consisting of two guys and two girls who are close. Things dont really go ideally though... other than that both show sisterhood a little (young adult matters abit more so), there are lgbtq characters and the main character isnt really mentally stable and developments in the story take a toll on them. The endings are rather ambiguous too. Park Kang Sub plays a character in both as well.
The bad guy in The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, Xu Ping, reminds me of the bad guy in Swords fo Legends, Ou Yang Shou Gong.
Both are gay-themed films about two men who fall deeply in love. They are separated and meet again years later but one has seemed to move on with a new partner while the other struggles to cope with the fact. A love triangle is involved in both films, as well.
Both are gay-themed Chinese language films about two men who fall in love in highschool but end up separating and meeting years later. That old flame is still there. Can it be rekindled?
The story of the two dramas relates to the romantic love story of a Crown Prince in similar dynasty. It also relates to revenge and conspiracy.
This is Part 2 of Season 1 of the series. Should watch the whole Season 1 before watching Season 2 in order to fully understand the story.
