I Will Be Your Ear (2021) version is basically the full-length movie version of this Music Video/short film by HANDSIGN.

-One of the leads is very ambitious, has a Rags to Rich story, and doesn't mind playing dirty when required.
-The other one is younger, lacks experience, starts off as a rival but tries to learn from the other.
-Courtroom drama.
-Petty Politics including rich people.
-Grey Characters.

Both are critically acclaimed romance films directed by Wong Kar Wai. Tony Leung plays a main character in both too.

There arent many or any similarities really but in the cinema the characters of journey to the shore go to there is an our body poster.

The cinematography in both is just such high quality so beautiful!!!!

Two couples with standalone stories of each
Very light Rom-com and pretty fast paced compared to Run-on
No excessive dramatics, no evil being (a rare for Lakorns i must say)
Well written characters not unique but act logically and not over the top
Character development

Both shows deal with two teenage boys finding love and developing a relationship, moving from friends to lovers while dealing with issues such as identity and one's past. There are some differences of course - in "His" there are two major female characters who advance the story, and "Given"'s backstory is a more tragic, but overall - those who like Given and Japanese BLs in general should give "His" a try. Also, watch the sequel movie (titled "His").
