Spy and "secret" group. The killer is Also Romantic is more comical. Both are also a short-episodic drama.
- Both have the cinematography that sets the mood with a lot of the scenes filmed in a moody or dark lighting, perfect for thrillers.
- Certain parts feel slow because the writers are trying to show how mundane and sad the protagonist's life is or was.
- Both of these have a plot that feels like a character study.
- Not the same sort of "Revenge" but protagonist seeks solace towards the second half.
- Can guarantee tears.
Enjoy!

FL and ML are both in their mature age. The chemistry is SIZZLING, I'm telling you. I f you don't find L&D's ML attractive, please try to give it a couple of episodes. He's honestly the best god of war character that I've watched, and I'm saying this while I'm absolutely biased for a different xianxia drama. FL is weak in a sense, but she has her own identity, is brave and never backs down!
Both shows are based around moving on from a betrayal and finding new love in the process. Art, either in music or writing, is a huge component of each of these shows and the passion for these mediums are clear in the actor's performances.
Both cute high school stories and both main leads are in bands and are there for their boyfriends that feel WAY to much pressure from their parents.
Okay, so literally only the setting the similar, but it made my giggle when I thought of it. But, both main leads have the chemistry and the acting and plot are both solid.
- Contemporary matriarchies
- Quirky leads
- Gender role reversal (more present in TOHoMaY)
- Social commentary (feminism)
- Lots of comedy despite heavier themes
- Bright and bold aesthetics
- Slight but unique bromance
Premise and story wise they're very different but I couldn't help but feel their vibes were similar.

In both drama ML and FL know each other online and offline differently and FL is working for/under ML in both dramas too.. only that Moonlight is based around book publishing and Everyone loves me is based around game development.
It also has time travelling and preventing accident & changing fate as its theme, also includs music & band life.
Witty female lead, nice and brave male lead who doesn't aim for the throne even if he's much better than the crown prince. Interesting side characters. The story is not only about romance.

When he passes out on the sidewalk after yet another stressful day, an unfamiliar face calls out to him - apparently, they once promised to marry each other?
