While RX is a lighter show it is still the direct sequel to black so if you want to see the next part of the story for our Kamen rider watch RX

Both have a darker overall plot but are very episodic with a lot of the episode plots being silly one offs. Lupat is sillier while black has a darker ending

Both have representatives from each previous Swanson come together and show the audience a bunch of clips

As a professional billiards player, Yin Guo has become quite a notable athlete. After receiving an invitation to play in a tournament in Hel, Yin Guo eagerly accepts. Little does she know that what will follow will change her life forever. Before Yin Guo can even start training for the upcoming competition, an unexpected snowstorm leaves her stranded with Lin Yi Yang, and an instant connection is made. Helped along by her cousin, Yin Guo and Yi Yang continue to get to know each other better long after the storm subsides. But even as they draw closer, Yin Guo has no idea that Yi Yang has quite a bit of history in the world of professional billiards. A true genius in the sport, Yi Yang once basked in the spotlight of professional billiards fame, but that was a long time ago. Similar dynamic in both shows were the ML is human and the FL is a supernatural creature. Initially, both ML encounter the FL by breaking a curse / awakening them from another realm. If you like one, try the other.

Similar school bullying settings but Pyramid Game is female-centric. Weak Hero Class is darker but Pyramid Game is more perverse. Weak Hero Class is more brutal and physical while Pyramid Game is more mental and strategic. Both protagonists are challengers of the system and are determined to survive and change their unfortunate situation.

Both drama tackles the struggles of growing up in a dysfunctional family. Showcase a strong support system between childhood friends. Realistic interpretation of love blossoming between friends which may or may not work. They have very lovable and endearing casts. Tear-jerking experience. The beauty of youth and how life forces you to leave it and grow up.

I might add an unrelated recommendation but I believe both start in a similar background which is racing and the racing scene is pretty fine. There this ‘difference’ in the genre and the ‘leads’ of course but I hope it’ll satisfy those that are interested in the racing concept mentioned in the drama.

In both of these BL dramas, one of the leads is an amateur photographer who comes to idolize one of his classmates. Even after that classmate returns his affection, he feels too inferior and unworthy - which causes further problems in their budding relationship.

Same main actor, and similar procedural-style drama where the protagonists take on investigations/cases to fight for justice. Great chemistry and action sequences!

Both show deals wanting revenge for the greater peace of mind to whomever is involved........ notable performance by both the MLs in the shows

The Red Sleeve tells the story of the son of Sado who is the main focus of Crimson Moon.
