Similar Wuxia story remakes with some same faces like Lin Yu Shen in both. Adventure, some romance and ties from the past generation to the future too

The chinese drama and the movie are similar in sense that they portray the theme of escaping from the hustle-bustle of city life to the serene and peaceful countryside. In both cases FLs are dealing with some issues and they want want an escape.
The other similarity is that they are both are full of warmth and message of healing of heart. Then there's the added bonus of different mouth watering food in both.

the storyline of both shows are very similar, as in the eclipse where akk, the student body president who is controlled by the cruel principal of the school to maintain peace in the school and upkeep the "nice" image of the school is met with ayan, a rebellious kid who wants to tear away the "all too good" reputation of the school and uncover its toxic ways

BL Metamorphosis is based on the bl manga world and its lovers whearas fujoshi..s 2ndoray character is a fujoshi

Both of these dramas are including the same male lead who is showing the same affection and performance.
It is based on the opposite concept for the male lead of being the younger in the old drama and the old in the newest one.
But though it is been 21 years difference between the both, where they embody the same characters of male lead in my opinion with same romantic genre story.
What is the common I think is that the relationship between the leads is not lasting for long time at the end of story and painstinkly resisting to not be separated.

This follows the story of illustrator Okusawa Ritsu and salesman Ikegami Fumiya. They met at an old coffee shop and eventually fell in love and lived happily together. However, a misunderstanding gradually arises between Ritsu, who lives freely, and Fumiya, who is swayed by it. After a fight one winter day, Ritsu leaves the house and is involved in an accident, and loses consciousness. Upon awakening, Ritsu had lost only the memory of Fumiya. Wanting to start their relationship over from scratch, Fumiya hides the fact that he was dating Ritsu and resumes their joint life. However, Ritsu asks him to take him to a familiar place in order to regain his memory. Fumiya is reluctant, but the two of them start a "journey" to follow the trajectory of their relationship. The coffee shop where they met for the first time, the riverside road they always strolled, the places they both traveled to before dating... Sweet memories and bittersweet memories, the time they spend together haunts Fumiya's mind. Ritsu, on the other hand, finds himself gradually becoming attracted to Fumiya while losing his memory.

Both are romcoms that start of with a hate-to-love plot and both deal with the pressure of dating under public scrutiny as celebrities.

Both movie showed when people hit bottom they went to the mountain in seeking of peace anda change. Both are comedy, healing. Showing the contrast in life, adjusting and adapting the different lifestyle

Both are about a bunch of youths, different levels/phases of martial arts, lotsa good fighting, solid CGI but the differences are….. The CGI of Duoluo Continent is closely related to animals because their cultivation is tied to nature, there is no political theme, production budget isn’t as high, just cos BoY has superb beautiful sets and costumes.
