Both stories function of the idea of a "Risou no Kareshi" or an ideal boyfriend, though both stories have different takes on the idea (one being a contract boyfriend, the other being a robot). It's really very Japanese in execution as well, with tried and true troupes and misunderstandings to tug at your heart strings.

-In both , the main characters have sex "without feelings"
-15+ scenes

Differences: in Nothing serious, the main characters are not virgins: the FL is just tired of the dating scene and the ML is a journalist writing an article on sex.

Both are fantasy/historical/wuxia dramas with a more unique plot, aesthetic, and characters, and a similar feel. Both deal with complex court politics, birth secrets involving the rightful heir to the throne, assassins, and feature a love triangle. Both FLs are compassionate and become stronger over the drama despite suffering a lot. The MLs are tortured slaves/servant bodyguards whose only purpose is to shield and die for their female masters, and both end up belonging to the FL early in the dramas. Both love stories are angsty and heart-breaking, and the dramas have unique endings - Bloody Romance is bittersweet, open, but hopeful, Colourful Bone has two endings, one sad/bittersweet and the other happy.

Both dramas talk about bullying, and main story line is about a transfer student looking for the truth behind a student's "suicide". Both main characters are not close to the person who died, but it feels like they have something to do with it on the day of the death. There are strong characters who fight the bullies. Both dramas also have characters who lost memories about the event before the student's death.

It has a sequel story to the main couple in Star and Sky: Star in My Mind, watching Star in My MInd would be helpful to understand what will go on in their episode.

The themes are very different. WLFKBJ focuses on career, coming of age, internal struggles and Uchikare's main theme is the mother-daughter relationship. However, the 'slight romance' in Uchikare is very similar to the romance of WLFKBJ, at least the first half. We have the FL in love/likes someone else in the beginning, the ML knows and despite having feelings for her, he helps her through thick and thin. So anyone who enjoys watching men being total supportive simps, you would probably enjoy the slow-burn of Uchikare.

Both have similar vibes like:
-- one of the lead confess their feelings to other lead but gets rejected and the other lead starts to have feelings(because of the confession) from then yet they hide it from everyone!
-- like kluen always gets jealous when he sees dao with someone else and he still doesn't show his jealous to dao until last few episodes, similarly in playful kiss, male lead gets jealous easily and yet he hides it from the female lead!
-- They kiss in dreams but surprisingly they really do kiss and its not dream! hope you will get what I meant!
-- one lead always tries to help other lead in all possible way knowing other lead will never know how much they love that person, but for our surprise other lead is also having same feelings towards them!
-- Even one of the lead tries to start a new relationship but it won't last long because they already in love with other lead which is hard to end!
-- both have happy ending and cute scenes.
