Although *Bon Appétit, Your Majesty* and *Tale of the Nine-Tailed* have different settings and genres, they share several key similarities. Both are fantasy romances that feature extraordinary circumstances bringing the main couple together and use supernatural elements to drive the story. Each drama centers on a powerful, initially cold male lead who gradually reveals a caring and protective side as he falls in love with a strong, independent heroine. The female leads are resourceful and play an active role in shaping the plot rather than simply relying on the male lead. Both series also blend romance with humor, suspense, and emotional moments, allowing the characters to grow through love while facing significant challenges. However, *Bon Appétit, Your Majesty* focuses on time travel, palace politics, and cooking in a historical setting, whereas *Tale of the Nine-Tailed* explores Korean mythology, fox spirits, reincarnation, and supernatural action in a modern world.

And very GREAT ACTING DONE BY THE CAST IN BOTH SHOWS

This one is basically the straight counterpart of it. They have the exact same title and almost identical plots. In both dramas the MCs travelled to the past and landed in bodies that were connected to the MLs, either through betrothal (in this one) or through a friendship ritual (in the recent Love Destiny).

Both are reverse harem dramas with a cold and calculating FL and a scheming but devoted ML, also including some investigation.

The prosecutor's proposal is also themed around laws and crimes. Here, the ML is also suspicious of his investigator partner. But later goes from being cold to warm.

Both have similiar genre, Road to Success is sport (football) and Go Go Suqid is e-sport (CTF).
Both include a team and the ML is their coach/leader, while the FL is always there supporting them. The kids would also matchmaking the leads.
Both have same youth spirit, everyone has their own struggle, and their own time to be a champion.

If you liked the plot of My Father is a Hero, you may also enjoy watching Fight Against Evil. While the plot of both movies wasn't quite the same, it still featured the story of a cop who would do everything in their power to fight bad guys while also protecting their loved ones. And as much as Kung Wei and Li Hongqi were nothing alike, both of them also worked as undercover cops. Also, an interesting fact to note is that Xie Miao, who played Jet Li's character's son in My Father is a Hero, also played Li Hongqi in Fight Against Evil. So if you're curious as to what it could be like for Kung Wei's son Kung Ku to grow up to become a police officer like his father... you don't need to look so far, and watch the story of Li Hongqi.
