Both have strong and ambitious female leads. Sometimes there are love triangles but "A girl similar to me" has a love triangle between her and two other guys and then another girl who also likes her boyfriend.
He doesn't even see her, but then there are more love triangles which make the story more interesting how everyone is chasing someone but only the main couple returns the feeling to each other.
"A girl like me" is actually interesting and kept me on my toes with some plot twists. This is a great thing because I mostly think dramas are boring and the same script with different actors.

There is not much to say why they are similar, more where they are different.
It feels like Revenge Girl is a Chinese remake with a sprinkle of dystopian future on top, and more wuxia style of fights with less dead bodies than in 'The Witch'

Both are BL dramas, which main story involve two people who knew each other since childhood and fell in love later in their lives (while growing up).
This is actually very different to LBC. It is a short movie about the perceptions society has towards hearing impaired people, with a BL spin. That said Taiichi reminds me of Can so I thought I would add this here for those who like Can.
FL has a contract relationship with the ML (pretending to be his sister vs. being his wife for a short while) which is to benefit the ML's father in some way. Both are very short and sweet dramas with happy endings.
Contract/forced marriage between the mains which isn't meant to last blossoms into real love. Both featuring conniving SFL(s) who just will not quit.
Fake/forced marriage between the leads turns into love.

Lower class FL accidentally ends up in a marriage with the ML (contract vs. switch) but ends up falling in love. Both have lovable bandit characters (FL and her "brother" in HOML, SML in TOD). Both dramas are light and romantic with very happy endings.
Arranged/contract marriage between the FL and the ML who is either a general or the son of a general turns to love. Both are mostly light dramas with a sweet relationship between the main couple.

The OG master/disciple dynamic and this is one of the most famous version with Louis Koo and Carmen Lee.
Master subordinate relationship dynamic between the hero and heroine. They are antagonistic toward each other at first but come to an understanding by the end of the series.
Master/disciple relationship where the master and disciple fall in love but they have a lot of stumbling blocks along the way before they come together.
THE EXACT SAME SITUATION AND MOOD
-female lead has something to do in a famous boysband group's house
-the male lead is always in a bad mood at first, avoiding everyone in the house and then he'll become the cutest boy you've ever seen
-second lead couple
-enemies to lover

FL ends up in another girl's body, married to royal ML who is cold toward her at first. SFL is a jealous concubine scheming to get rid of her. At some point the FL gets banished to the distant palace where the ex-concubines live.
